What is todays SEO? - Full Insight

Ok, i'm not a hater, but how the hell can you determine half of this information without extensive inside information? Did you put together a system of points yourself and somehow relate that to dynamic search engines? Don't you think that not all keywords/niches require the certain percentages you put in place here, and based on particular keywords you will benefit from having certain backlinks compared to others?

I prefer to learn from experience, not a self-developed theory. Oh and try and put together a "perfect" seo website, you'll go crazy working on something that will take lots of time to see the full potential of results anyways so why not just keep working on a site and make it relevant, and then continue to learn + make money.

I appreciate the writeup though.

It is very normal that we will never have the same point of view concerning SEO and how google algorithm works. That is what makes SEO more interesting. That is also what makes google more poweful.

I think extrawinners principle is sound. What makes me laugh is the people coming on here and going "the algorithm is vector based etc etc" Google WANTS you to think it is, no one person in their firm even understands all of them or how the entire thing works it's too mammoth now. Extrawinner has simply done trial and error and found what works. This is true SEO at its best, as anything else is purely a guess. I find attacks like this hurtful to the spirit of a reasonably well done post. Yes it's not the most accurate in the world however it is to the point for an intro to new people for SEO.

It has the basic principles of what a robot is, the types of robots, what each of them does and how they inter-relate. If he wanted to go in depth he would of posted IP's, Adsense robots etc etc however that's not going to help someone understand the very basic principles of what is ACTUALLY known. Any SEO firm or person that tells you they understand pagerank for example is looking at a tiny metric of the algo and it has LONG since changed, to boot an average SEO person that understands that level of algebra yeah right!

Gozpy, You really need to learn some manners.. If you think OP has said something wrong, you can indicate it and tell tell the correct point.

Extrawinner already told that he is telling everything based on his experience.

So, here is what you should do. Start a thread and explain what extrawinner couldn't. Or shut the f##k up...

Actually I have done some researches about google spiders for my studies. But I never had idea of this much spiders would be there. Thanks for such a valuable information.

Submitting articles to hundreds of article directroies still got it's benefits not like what it used to be but still OK... With time it will more devalued... Best option to submit to good article directory ( 1 article to 1 site - lol good site will not accept copied content to save their own ass from content farm update)

This was definitely a good read. I feel there is lot of prominence given to PR. G00Gle are delaying the results by approx 6 months now, so that people wont be able to manipulate how to compute PR & get good rankings.
I have seen some recent results on a friends site with HIGH PR and backlinks from .EDU/.GOV sites.

As you mentioned in another post that this is like 20% & rest 80% was not covered, I am eagerly waiting for that info.

A lot of hating going on but I enjoyed the commentary from ExtraWinner and have gone through the same exercise myself in my own SEO efforts and plans. We need more of these conversation not less! Thanks again and let's just agree to disagree rather that getting into flame wars.

No, absolutely not.

You will see them as same Google spider. They wont let you see them of course.

Sometimes when you will go to this huge forums, they will have index of what users are using them and also what spiders are in.
You will see few times that 2 Google spiders are online same time.
They will look the same, but how the hell you can know what they are doing?
You are unable to track their movement from server side, unless you will create traps. But those are close to impossible to create due to chaotic way spiders move.


I will answer all questions from thread anytime I will have spare hour. My net connection is crazy last few days (damn UPC), so whenever I will catch on my work, I will post here, and also create new thread about "Perfect" ways to rank websites with new algo.

Feels really great to have people like you, I will desperately wait for this thread. It's better to read these kind of informative thread than reading those boring seo's PDF( i don't wanna name 'em) having all kind of B.S, Hoping again for the best from you man.:)
 
Thank you very much for the input, it is very usefull since all seo information out there is about how to make even more spam on the internet.
So web directories are useless unless they are paid ones, article directories just go for ezine or blogging sites where you have to become a writer for them
Never spam your money site with xrumer and scrapebox lists.
Built a couple web 2.0 and build loads of backlinks to them
About Web directories I have a targheted questions:
-Is Dmoz worth it this days for a very big online store.
-Can you recomend any web directories for a site like that (big online store)?
-Do you use or recomend using a close network of blogs or sites that are built with the purpose of backlinking.
-Can you direct me to 1 good network?
 
Most of the OP seems to be inline with what the well known people on here have been saying for a long time. If someone disagree's I would love to see their opinion not flames. If your test gave you different results then that would make a good debate.

I appreciate the great explanation and will make a few adjustments to my backlinking stratagy because of this awesome post.
