What is the difference between guest posting and back-links?

Both are different from my point of view as most of publisher don't allow links in their post when we submit Guest Post

When you write an article you mention the line in it for another website. guest posting is a way of getting backlinks and we have many backlinks when we share the many posts and the backline is important for your web page.

Guest post is one method of getting backlinks to your site. There are several other methods like PBNs, Web 2.0s, Profile links, Article submission, Doc/Image/Video sharing etc.

Guest Posting is great source to promote your website services with the help of high PR blogs of same niche. all you need to do is contact blog owner and ask to publish your content on his blog and get relevant backlinks form the blog.

Blog Posting means creating a blog on blogs site like Blogger , wordpress.com and then keep posting some articles called blog posts into then on regular basis. Put link to your website in the article by hyper linking a keyword for your site into that article. But keep in mind that you have to update your blog on as frequent basis as much you can so that Google start crawling it on daily basis after some time as Google like the pages whose contents are updated regularly.

Some people just want to promote their content, rather than taking the link back to their site. That is considered as normal guest post.

And when we take the link back to our site from the guest post, it is considered as guest post back link.

Guest Posting means to submit your content in other site and giving links on keywords of your own site and back links is a link from a web page back to your own web page or website
