Recently, I found a reference link to an article. It goes like this:
xxxx.com/goto/yyyyy.com

Can I know from the forum members, what is this /goto/ in URL.

I probably think it is a way of not giving even a nofollow link.

Any members views are welcome.

Most sites I know send the click through a script that tracks infos

This url structure is usually being used by Affiliates in order to hide their Affiliate id. It is some kind of redirection.
