Hello warriors,

2019 is gone. Now it is 2020.
Now I want to know your opinion about the upcoming trends in 2020.
You know IM is changing regularly. Some methods which was profitable in 2012 won't run in 2020.
We should be prepared for the upcoming trends.

Some of the old threads of BHW prophecied that IM is going to die soon in 2020. I don't think so.

So please share your opinion with your experience and knowledge.

Tiktok and Snapchat continue to trend up. I think they will continue to do so in 2020.

Snapchat and TikTok definitely. Honestly I would say more and more people will go mobile only.

It is already the "next level", like it was under the name musical.ly in 2016 and 2017.

But nothing will last forever, so you should always research about new apps.

couldn't agree more with that

From my personal experience I have noticed many 20 to 30 year olds deleting their Facebook accounts due to being fed up with Facebook policies
Twitter and Instagram still going strong.
Snapchat especially popular with teens.

TikTok is the obvious one.

SEM isn't going anywhere anytime soon whether it's free or paid.

The usual push towards video over written content.

Podcasting is the one catching my attention. 2019 was big for podcasting and I'd suspect that'll keep growing in 2020.

I've heard this from a couple of people over the last year or two. It's growing but these queries are all going to be short Q&A stuff. Conversion rates from podcasts are dire enough where people are willing to listen to you for an hour. I don't know how much marketing opportunity is going to be there but I guess we'll see.
