i search the many time on google and bing but i can't give the best answer about cloaking can anybody explain about cloaking and give the link about it. please

@Facebook Phone Number I think Cloaking in simplest terms is when a human/user reading a specific site would see a different content or information than what the Googlebot or other search engine robots would see when reading the same site.

Cloaking is when you see a link or ads that give you details about it, but when you click it,
it will redirect you to sites or links different from you read in the details given.

The above URL, looks like the domain is 'goo.gl', it looks like the link is from this domain. But if u click on this link-it takes you to a video which is on youtube, or say, it redirects you to a youtube link, to another domain. That's Link cloaking as far as I understand!

So , what is the cloaking used for fb ads ? Is it Link cloaking or content cloaking to bypass approval of ads ..

I will try to explain it through 2 funny stories :
1. There was a get together going on in a house, a salesman goes to a house and saw the beautiful girls and came back to his friend and told them about the girls in the house. When the friends went to the house, they found that there is no body in the house except two old folks.
2. It can be described in other way too, suppose an old woman wants to meet younger men. What she does is that she sticks pictures of beautiful girls on her walls so that passengers would see them and think that the girl lives there. But when any guy comes to the house he finds someone else...
I hope you got the point of cloaking...
