Hi everyone, I just received a question: "What is a standard SEO blog page?", the question here is about the page like sidebar layout, main content placement, header footer,... I really searched many forums but rarely saw talk about this issue, according to you, what is a standard SEO blog page?

A standard SEO blog page includes optimized, keyword-rich content with clear headings, internal / external links and multimedia.
It features a user-friendly layout with easy navigation, a mobile-responsive design, fast loading speed and social sharing buttons.
Technical SEO elements like HTTPS, schema markup and a clean URL structure are also essential.

A well-made SEO page should have a clear header with the title, content organized with H2/H3, paragraphs and short lists, a sidebar with useful links and a footer with essential information. The important thing is that it is easy to navigate and useful for the user.

Happy new year 2025 to all, wish you be healthy and wealthy!

Now I have new thoughts not laugh please. Some people say blogging is death ( the new google algo) some saying documentation is better, because big sites do not blogging they have documentation.

Uffff it's gaga, it's weird....

So, but what exactly is documentation? A slideshare , a pdf ??? A medium article?

Is when I'm doing blogging on my site every day not some type of documentation too?

I'm little bit confused now.....

I hope the best blog header and footer is not
best blog good index is And internal or external links is.

I think we're getting caught up in the "documentation vs blogging" debate when it's really about content quality and user intent. From what I've seen, successful content (whether blog or docs) typically:
  • Answers a specific question or solves a problem
  • Gets straight to the point without fluff
  • Uses examples and real-world applications
  • Updates regularly to stay relevant
"Documentation" just means structured, factual content. A well-written blog post that teaches something valuable IS documentation. The format matters less than the substance.

In my opinion, an SEO friendly blog is a website that is not only designed to attract readers but is also well optimized for search engines (SEO).

A standard SEO blog page has a clean layout with a prominent main content area, featuring well-structured headings (H1, H2, etc.) for readability and SEO. It often includes a sidebar for additional navigation or CTAs, ensuring the page remains fast-loading and mobile-friendly. The header should have clear navigation, and the footer can include internal links, a sitemap, or contact information. Structured data and optimized meta tags further enhance SEO.

Since when is have multimedia (podcasts, videos ) in a blog posts necessary for SEO ? When I not do this myself for everyone post I write, then I should add a lot of external links and external links of multimedia into my post , so that my visitors going to these sources and I will lost traffic, right? All SEO gurus and google itself claim that when you have a video in your post (your own youtube video) that thi sis not a SEO Factor, it's a little benefit yes, but not more. When youc check big media websites, yes they have videos in their post, but videos who nothing have to do with the content itself and they not get one google algo punishment. Then often they have at the end of the article a full list of affiliate links and some product videos all have nothing to do with the content itself.
Yes these big media sites adding external links -but these links are affiliate links, not links to smaller helpful websites !
And the same big lie I read every day: Have external outbound links on your site will helo your SEO ranking ! Nope! Never ever ! Not one single
source gave a smaller website a free ******** backlink , so why I should add outgoing links on my sites ?

"Linking out to high-quality pages can help you rank higher." Yeah maybe, but only when this high quality site will link back to you which in 98% of the cases never happens !

Why ?

A standard SEO blog page is like writing something super useful but making sure Google notices it. Think of it as a mix of good writing and a bit of strategy. First, it needs a great title that includes the main keyword so people can find it easily. Then there’s this little thing called a meta description—it’s just a quick summary of the blog that shows up on Google. The blog itself should be easy to read, with clear headings, naturally placed keywords, and links to other pages for more context. Adding images helps too, but you’ve got to describe them with something called alt text, so search engines get what the image is about. Oh, and the blog should load fast and look good on a phone because nobody has time for slow, clunky websites.
In short, it’s about writing something awesome and tweaking it so both people and Google love it!

A standard SEO blog page typically includes:

  • Main Content Placement: Clear and prominent with well-structured headings (H1, H2, etc.).
  • Sidebar Layout: Optional but useful for navigation, recent posts, or CTAs.
  • Header & Footer: Header with navigation links and footer with essential links (privacy, contact, sitemap).
  • SEO Basics: Optimized meta tags, fast loading speed, mobile-friendly design, and schema markup.
It’s about balancing user experience and search engine requirements.

Nowadays google acts wired, crazy, nobody knows exactly what is going on with the google algo, except their friends big media sites.
Google punishes sites with too many FAQS too I wonder......google punishes sites who have too many internal backlinks ? (WTF)
What is going on today? The other side= Bing there you not see such crazy things.

OK, standard seo page here I mean high quality content sites. I search myself for high quality content examples to get an idea what that will looks like.

Seth Godin i shere the opposite, only uses short content and ranks well , I wonder does google not prefer long form content?

High quality content: example site byrdie , long form, with sections and at the bottom links to experts, or other niche authority sites

Printmag: they using the original images and videos from other sites (!) add their own content and add a quote from the origin source in their content. Stealing other people image and video 1:1 is allowed today ?

High quality; the article form Bloomberg: bloomberg (com) /graphics/2015-whats-warming-the-world/, a short article behind a subscription wall, this article is short but got 8300 backlinks (?) How the hell they get 8300 backlinks for one short article ?

You see there are many ways of creating high quality content , often a lot of them are in the byrdie style, means long form with sections and linking out to other expert sites.

What I mean with this is, analyze big sites who are ranking well, their site structure, their url structure (goes deep) how they organize content and their writing style / format (like byrdie example).

My thoughts are; ok most of us can't hire expert to wrote for us like byrdie, but with a twist you can use their style in your site why go lower standard? Then when you write high quality content, at first people knowing what is it about, explain the solution, then like "read more"
write longer form and add out links to other expert sites. Site structure us a contenthub, use category pages, organize content, add your free webinar cta or newsletter sign up and you should be fine in google ranking.

Use schema markup for pages, for category pages , for single posts, or when you have news then use schema markup for news, learn about topics, (they are not only simple keywords)

When bigger sites stealing your content and they rank better, (ok they have more backlinks for seo rank) I bet, they have a better organized way to show content better as your site, thi sis why they outrank with your content.

Happy Monday ! Uffff, my body feels shattered today had bad sleep last night......

A standard SEO blog page emphasizes clear and readable content in the main body. It utilizes structured data (schema markup), follows a logical heading structure (H1-H6), and ensures fast loading speeds and mobile-friendliness. While sidebar layouts can be beneficial, they are not as critical for SEO as these core elements.

1.

  • Logo and Branding: Your logo should be clear and easy to identify, linking to the homepage. Keep branding elements minimal and avoid overloading the header with unnecessary information.
  • Navigation Menu: Include a clean, simple navigation bar. Organize it with categories that make sense for your audience. Avoid keyword stuffing in navigation links.
  • Search Bar: A search bar can improve usability by helping visitors find relevant content quickly. Make it accessible without distracting from the page's primary content.

2.

  • Headline (H1): The blog post title should be the most prominent heading on the page (H1), and it must be clear, relevant, and contain the target keyword for SEO.
  • Introduction: The opening paragraph should provide a concise overview of the topic, ensuring it contains relevant keywords naturally. It's important to immediately inform the reader about what to expect.

A standard SEO blog page refers to a blog post on a website that is optimized according to SEO best practices to rank well on search engines like Google. The goal is to create a page that not only provides valuable content to users but is also structured and formatted in a way that makes it easy for search engines to crawl and understand.

User-friendly layout, clear header, sidebar for additional content or links

Footer with relevant links or contact information

Prioritize both search engine optimization and user experience
