Hey guys, i've been wondering about this. When looking for good F/UF sources, how many users from that source do you follow before you "trust" the samplesize of the Followback ratio?

Thanks in advance!

I use 200 to trust, you should also track their engagement ;)

200-400 if the source has a FB ratio lower than 25-30% i replace them.

Im using Jarvee and don't know how to track a source's engagement. You mind telling me how you're doing it? Thanks!

Sounds good! 25-30% sounds awesome! Probably depends on the niche, I'm on fitness/wellness and have a hard time finding anything above 20%

A small trick, don't add to your sources big pages with 1m or more followers. Aim for smaller pages with 250-500k followers.

Yep! Solid advice, i've been having more success with 100k-300k acconts than the massive ones. I'll stick to around 300 follows per source to determine Followback for now :)

I don't use Jarvee, what I do is simply track the users that followed me AND liked my pictures in the first two weeks, if after the first 2 weeks they don't like anything, you can almost be 100 % sure that they won't engage with your future posts.

It's simple. You take the first 6-9 posts of an account and calculate the ER (you can take more or use a site like socialblade, but it's better if you do it yourself because the results may vary a bit) . When the results satisfies you move to the second step which is check the people who have liked and commented. If the accounts who have liked have no profile picture, random letters etc. DO NOT add this source. If most of the accounts who have commented are similar pages and write comments like "good post" and use emojis then you can MAYBE add this source if you don't find anything better to add, but i wouldn't advise you to do so. The Best choice is to add a source who has a good ER, real followers-likers and comments from people not pages.

I hope this helps you a bit
