What I Learned After Testing AI Content vs Human Edited Content

This year I ran a small experiment. I published two sets of articles.

Group one was pure AI content.

Group two was AI content but fully edited by me.

Both posts were indexed. Both posts got impressions.

But the edited ones stayed longer in rankings. The unedited AI posts dropped after a few weeks.

It shows Google does not hate AI. It just hates low effort.

Tip : Always add your own structure and examples when using AI.

Question is Are you still editing your AI content or posting it as it is

Did you re-write it or added/edited in some other way?
 
you can also use pure AI content, its about how well you write the prompt to create it and not just let the AI create generic content.
 
I still edit my AI content before posting because it always performs better long-term. Adding my own structure, examples and tweaks makes it feel more real and helps it stick in the rankings. Posting raw AI works sometimes, but the edited stuff wins every time.

AI content can rank, but Google favors high effort pages. Edited AI articles with added structure and examples perform better and stay longer in rankings.
 
I’ve seen the same thing, AI writes fast, but my edited posts always rank better,

Exactly, plus AI content can come in many format, and mixs
That's very tought for any algo to detect

I've repeated this advice countless times here in the past.

It would be helpful for others if you could explain your workflow. Like how and what are you editing before publishing.
 
Exactly AI works, but only if you add human touch. Structure, examples and insight keep content ranking raw AI alone fades fast.
 
I tried the AI route for content but it didn't quite pick up. The impressions were low even though the videos were of great quality. Did you run ads or were they all organic views? What works now for me is posting multiple times a day and prioritizing short form content. At least for now

What kind of ad did the brother post?
 
AI drafts are quick, but they usually feel a bit flat. Adding my own flow and small details makes the content stick better in search and read more naturally
 
I use AI to get a draft (including topic, good ideas, article structure, etc.) and then rewrite it based on my own experience.
 
Your observation is top notch, Using only Ai content will cause Google to de-rank your site.
 
I use AI content and edit it as well. Also I add proper internal and external links to make it a masterpiece. It helps to look like more human written.
