Let's say I wanna acquire a link from a guest posting service or PBN links.
What I would do first is ask if the seller have guest post related to my niche
Once he show me the sample of the website I would look for:
.DR
.DA
.PA
.RD
.Traffic
.Content

I've never bought a link building service so I wanna know what are your steps to not get fooled by the marketing they show.

It's not just a numbers/metrics game. You look at the overall quality of the site. A good site will have at least some top rankings, should be catered towards a particular niche or vertical, and the content should read well, good quality. If they're selling a link to you then they're selling it to others as well, you want to see if the outgoing links are related and not random (selling links to anyone who has money). Avoid sites that sell links to gambling / pharma or other spammy niches. Just do an overall analysis, and if it makes sense then buy the link.

One solid and relatable link is better than dozens of links from the sites built to sell links only.
Think like that and you will get to it.

1.Check reviews and online reputation.
2.Prioritize natural and relevant links from high DA sites.
3.Ensure ethical, white-hat techniques are used.
4.Demand clear reporting and open communication.
5.Avoid rapid link growth to prevent penalties.
6.Opt for sustainable, long-term practices.
7.Be cautious with unrealistically low prices.

Ask for niche relevance..Check DR, DA, PA, RD for domain strength...Assess website traffic and content quality.Check all these metrics

Focused in Niche Relevant ,High Traffic and Content quality .

When checking out link services, focus on the site's popularity, how good the content is, where their traffic comes from, and if they've been shady with links before, so you don't fall for flashy ads.

High-quality links should be acquired from reputable websites in your industry. Do not use services that use spammy tactics or acquire links from low-quality websites.

I think you are on the right track in the process you indicate you follow to evaluate the service.

Before you buy, you should always keep in mind that the links should be niche relevant, high quality ones. For that there are some metrics for your aid, like DA,PA, etc.

Honestly these days I have better luck buying a handful of handpicked $20-50 niche-related DA15+ website links from Fiverr or here, than any generic link blasting services. I just search "My niche" Da website link, or "My niche" DA guest post and hand-pick through the ones with good metrics. Just make sure you run their site through Semrush or ahrefs , they'll inflate metrics on Fiverr listing pages. Ill also buy small expired domains in the same niche with good link profiles and just 301 them but some people argue the effectiveness of that, seems to help me though. In any case, I cant remember the last time I picked up a generic mass link package or anything that wasn't extremely tailored to my exact niche. At this point I actually get irritated checking the backlink profile of a new site project and seeing ANYTHING that isn't immediately and obviously relevant lol.

Check if it is niche relevant, Check their DR and traffic. Then You are good to go

Check if the link service is legit by making sure it fits your niche and examining factors like Domain Rating, Domain Authority, Page Authority, Referring Domains, traffic, and content quality to avoid being misled by marketing tricks.

so many aspects should be consider but atleast after watching the content quality of the site you should consider its DA,DR as well as traffic of your required country

When considering a purchase, always bear in mind the importance of selecting links that are not only high in quality but also relevant to your specific niche. Useful metrics to guide your decision include factors like Domain Authority (DA), Page Authority (PA), and more.

When checking out link-building services, keep these in mind:

Make sure the guest posts match your topic.
Look for strong numbers like DR, DA, PA, and RD for solid links.
Real websites get real visitors. Check for signs of actual engagement.
Good content matters.

Stay smart, and hit me up if you need more advice!

In PBNs, check the RD and DA/DR metrics. And in guest posts check the traffic, site authority, & link profile.
