Depends on the usage scenario. Scraped / scanned proxies for some stuff, tor for some stuff, web proxies on my own hosting for some stuff, own VPN for some stuff.

It depends.
When I want to hide from the owners of sites I visit I use TOR. It's slow and its' IPs are often banned. It's free though.
When I need to hide my data from my own country net monitoring I use my own VPS in other country with VPN installed. This is the best method if you, for example, own some adult sites and your country laws forbid pr0n, . It's fast, cheap and reliable. Just check laws ow the country you have VPS in.
When you need to hide your IP for something very black, the best way is use public WiFi services and connect through VPN on a hacked server via SOCKS proxy on a second hacked server.

I generally put those glasses with the big nose and mustache on my IP... works most of the time.

If it is not working, I use proxylist.co and that works 100% of the time.

To hide your IP address using proxies are best. I, personally use hidemyip software....

Using proxy most of the time, sometimes i use my Remote Desktop Connection with a server i have to do that.
