"What do you do?"

Hmm ... you could tell them you're a plastic surgeon.

Whatever as long as I could pay my bill, they won't mind my business!
There's no need to explain more detail to people who have no clue about it!

I say I'm an Internet Marketer, I'm the guy who asks you if you want a bigger penis !

haha this.

my friends know what i actually do(kind of) but when they introduce me to others they ask "U ever get crappy popups all time? He is the one to blame haha"

ps i love these thread lol keep em coming

I always said this.

And it works.

"doing marketing for company website"

"I distract skateboarders and bmx riders and film them as they smash their faces into the ground to upload to Youtube"

"Really? I have seen some of those."

"Thanks. I got paid for that"

That's one way to deal with the question. Make it as basic as possible, and tell them that you have profited from them.

As said it depends on the person asking. Women: "I own a portfolio of virtual real estate" Men: "Help manipulate internet traffic and search engines in favour of myself and clients" Friends and Family: "I am a blackhat marketer, it is a long story!"
