I want you to share what crypto marketing works on you?
How do you find tokens , meme-coins you decide to ape?
KOLs, Ads, Trackers, Trends.
Where do you find it.

I feel like it's different for several coins. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I think bitcoin will eventually crash and go to 0.
Also, it's like the coins with the most hype potential grow the best. Looking at XRP it's hugely popular and if you believed the public opinion of it. You see where it's heading

Personally if I had to chose one I'd chose XMR for now. It's a coin being used in some places, thanks to it's anonymity. Also ETH looks super cheap at the current market

My question is more about marketing and not about top10 coins, I think they no need more advertising, they already got.

straightforward memes, quick viral campaigns, authentic KOL shoutouts
caught myself aping into coins from Telegram AMAs and Twitter

Good question are you talking meme coins only, or even serious altcoins. For memes I follow CT influencers, but for solid projects I lean on trackers + Discord alpha calls. What about you.

Mostly CT (Crypto Twitter) and some alpha groups. I also keep an eye on Dex volume spikes and trending pairs on DEXTools. KOLs help, but you’ve gotta filter the noise.

Ty for your answers

Twitter/X Shilling by KOLs

  • If I see 3+ unrelated KOLs tweeting about the same low-cap token within 30 mins, my FOMO alarm goes off.
  • Shills that include:
    • Chart screenshots
    • Emojis & short bullish comments
    • ✅ Early wallet holders or snipers

Works best when paired with subtle paid replies and trending hashtags.

I would say Twitter Ads would be good for it, I can do that

good for what? You run own project and did X ads for it or you trying promote your services?

Effective crypto marketing, for me, isn't about hype; it's about clear utility and genuine community. I'm drawn to educational content that simplifies complex concepts and shows real world applications, appealing to my practical side. Equally important is authentic, engaged communities and transparent communication from project teams. This builds trust and a sense of shared purpose, which flashy campaigns can't replicate

you know that is not allowed out of Marketplace

It depends. I work as memecoin project manager and handled several memecoin projects' management and marketing.

In past days X was a great platform to promote. We promoted on X along with some other ways.
But now the scenario changed. Now a days, in most cases no need of pre-launch hype for memecoin. And from social media pre-launch hype, now a days it is very difficult to get significant investors for memecoin, unless it is launched by any established trusted organization. It's because now thousands of memecoins are being launched everyday, past scams, presale scams, rug pull, dump, etc.

Now most investors invest seeing chart. And the big investors use advanced investment platform like Axiom, Photon, BullX, etc. They use some filters to scan potential good investment opportunities. So now we launch in a way following our secret strategies so that it triggers those big investors' filters and rank high on the chart index like Dexscreener. And once the chart side is covered, we engage some effective crypto influencers to promote on social medias and also apply some other marketing strategies.

On a wallet launch, what moved me most was a trio of unaligned KOL posts within 30 minutes, a volume spike on trackers, then a short AMA in Telegram. Final nudge as a user was simple tokenomics and a clear roadmap on the landing page, not memes alone

I think is very hard task to find good KOLs that will bring real volume.

You can find meme-coins via Twitter, Telegram, crypto KOLs, use tools like Dexscreener, Dextools, CoinGecko trend, and follow news/PR on major crypto sites.

I usually choose coins listed on Coinlist and then do my own research, because if I just buy everything from there, the results aren’t that good nowadays.
