I feel like it's different for several coins. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I think bitcoin will eventually crash and go to 0.
Also, it's like the coins with the most hype potential grow the best. Looking at XRP it's hugely popular and if you believed the public opinion of it. You see where it's heading

Personally if I had to chose one I'd chose XMR for now. It's a coin being used in some places, thanks to it's anonymity. Also ETH looks super cheap at the current market

Good question are you talking meme coins only, or even serious altcoins. For memes I follow CT influencers, but for solid projects I lean on trackers + Discord alpha calls. What about you.

Effective crypto marketing, for me, isn't about hype; it's about clear utility and genuine community. I'm drawn to educational content that simplifies complex concepts and shows real world applications, appealing to my practical side. Equally important is authentic, engaged communities and transparent communication from project teams. This builds trust and a sense of shared purpose, which flashy campaigns can't replicate

It depends. I work as memecoin project manager and handled several memecoin projects' management and marketing.

In past days X was a great platform to promote. We promoted on X along with some other ways.
But now the scenario changed. Now a days, in most cases no need of pre-launch hype for memecoin. And from social media pre-launch hype, now a days it is very difficult to get significant investors for memecoin, unless it is launched by any established trusted organization. It's because now thousands of memecoins are being launched everyday, past scams, presale scams, rug pull, dump, etc.

Now most investors invest seeing chart. And the big investors use advanced investment platform like Axiom, Photon, BullX, etc. They use some filters to scan potential good investment opportunities. So now we launch in a way following our secret strategies so that it triggers those big investors' filters and rank high on the chart index like Dexscreener. And once the chart side is covered, we engage some effective crypto influencers to promote on social medias and also apply some other marketing strategies.

I usually choose coins listed on Coinlist and then do my own research, because if I just buy everything from there, the results aren’t that good nowadays.
