Hi, Im not too good with code and design, and I would like to know what CMS is this site using? http://www.sherdog.com/

Seems like custom wordpress but Im not sure...

I don't think it's a Wordpress, judging by the source code it's a custom built HTML site, though if that is a CMS, then it's a very well cleaned up version. Or so it looks to me with a quick glance at the source code.

Thank you mate... Do you think it is possible to customize wordpress to look and have functions like this site or I need to hire someone to make it from scratch?

Seems like a simple enough site, haven't checked all the functions, but if it doesn't have anything way over the top it looks doable with Wordpress, but of course, might not look exactly the same as it is a different platform. A skilled designer should be able to do something like that though.

Well ain't this a handy tool! I've used individual CMS detectors, that spot Joomla, Wordpress and Drupal, but that is really good. Cheers Apricot!

Just used that tool and it's very wrong as I checked some WP websites there and it says no cms detected.

But I agree as it looks like a custom cms as per OP post.

Second that, tried both a Joomla and WP website it can't detect it!

I don't know if it's a CMS, but it definitely looks like some sort of custom HTML. Not a very nice looking site either, imo.

I tested 2 of my websites and 2 of my clients websites that are all using the Wordpress CMS and the tool was only able to detect Wordpress on one of them. The tool's website says that it uses an algorithm to detect the CMS on a website, although it's not 100% accurate.
