What are your thoughts on promoting by posting eBook Google Plus?

I don't here much about marketing with Google+
What are your thoughts on promoting by posting eBook's Google Plus? I use google doc's
to create my ebooks, and click publish to the web. I allowed my to post the ebook
to my google plus account.
Do you think this is helpful to get my product out there?

Join G+ communities. These are a fantastic way to promote your e-books.

Find some related groups on G+,this could be one better solution to find targeted audience.
