My blood sugar level is constantly 140-160mg/dl, it should be max 100 xD
From tomorrow:
-zero caffeine
-20g carbs
-10km walk every day
-zero energy drinks
-zero cigarettes
-water, vitamins, berberine
Need to come back to weight <100kg, last 2 months it was 132 kg, now 122kg ;/ - progress, but not enough
And will see in next 3-5 months, when I stabilize weight on my normal level and no fix blood sugar, then time to doctor ;/ :D

Check your blood sugar level guys ;) It's cheap, glucometer cost $20 in most countries, in some for free ;)

You've publicly committed to:

Best not let us down, fellow sock trader.

;) <3.
It's hard
but better to do radical detox than die earlier
Sugar, no problem. I am keto fan. Bigger problem is cigarettes and caffeine, the biggest to move ass xD
Surprising, caffeine can increase blood sugar levels by 30% for many hours. Cigarattes for 10%-20%

Ey fellow ketoer ;)

Even if I assume you are 6 feet tall, this isn't a healthy weight.

Even I have started dieting again.

Here is what my diet looks like.

-5 boiled egg whites in the morning + 2 whole boiled eggs.
-Vegetable soup in lunch + 7 Boiled egg whites again.
-Lots of fruits and salads when I feel hungry between lunch and dinner.
-Vegetable or lentils' soup in the evening.

I would not recommend a diet like this to you as it adds up to less than 1500 calories but trust me, unhealthy weight is the main cause behind all kinds of chronic diseases.

Hope you stay fit and stay healthy.

How are you testing this?

add some resistance training, 3-5 times a week,
and i mean resisting, basically lifting heavy hard weights,
the easiest way is to hit the gym, body exercices won't be comfortable at this point,
it's really as important (probably more important long-term) as cardio (walking),
srouce: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37331899/

eat plenty of veggies before each meal (especially green ones), drink 4L+- of water and keep being consistent,
you don't have to go full keto, 80-100g are good to go, space them out for 3-4 times and try to get them before walking/training,
i've tried keto for several times, worked great until a few months goes by and you'll have problems dealing with carbs later,

source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29378044/

make sure to up the protein, it helps to stabilize the blood sugar levels and build more muscle (& prevent losing),
your muscles are the biggest storage & engine for the sugar/carbs, try to build them up across the journey,
here's another study you can check: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7483278/

caffeine and small amounts of sugar (15-20g) won't be a problem, it helps with the endurance, you'll have more energy to move more,
and as long you're moving through the day, your body will use these up,
other sources:

fasting can be one of the best options as well,
just make sure to test it up as it might lead to binge eating, especially if you're going too aggressive too soon,

best of luck man, i hope this goes well, just keep moving one step at the time,
health is no joke, it's a great part of your identity as a human, it literally changes the way you behave/feel (hormones, physically)

Wishing you health. The last time I checked mine was a little while ago when I had my wrist broken. It was borderline high, but after checking my hba1c report the doc said the high reading was due to the injury.

Makes sense to get checked atleast once every couple of months even if one isn’t diagnosed with high blood sugar yet. Specially after 40.

Just came here to tell you about this.

High sugar levels mg/dl is an indicator but the most accurate one is Hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c) Test.

When do you test yourself?

You should do 2 tests.

1 in the morning,2h after you wake up and one 2h after your first meal.

My father has been T2 diabetic for more than a decade and we managed to get his levels down to normal without any medication.

What I did is I convinced him to go strict 0 carb in the beginning and 1 day IM fasting per week. We managed to get his levels to normal levels in 2 weeks this way.

Hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c) levels take a bit more to come down since its the average of 3 months....

Good luck. You've got this and I wish you were just bad at timing your tests.

I feel you, but it might still be reversible at this point (I think).
No much point in physical activity when your sugar level is normal, and drinking water can only get it down to 180 (obviously better than other drinks, but no chugging required).
20 gr carbs a day is insane given that even cucumbers have about 2-3 gr' carbs per 100. Focus on adding oil to slow carb absorption.
What helped me the most was understanding that protein makes you feel full more effectively than carbs.

Can you elaborate on your diet? Caffeine is a diuretic, good use can help you drain sugar thru urine. Every "body" is different, one size fits all is not true. Slowly you can get to desired results.

Also my glucometer can be wrong or strips, they are 1 year after opening but not older than 2 years. There is text to use them before 1 year xD

How is the first day of the regime going? How are you feeling?
lol xD
I am adapted to keto, so normal. No caffeine, but still have 1 cigarette pack xD
