Weird about PBN after penguin 4.0

People just seem to listen to everything that's online and forget about testing themselves. Completely agree on anchor texts, I found I get very little power of PBN links with brand or naked anchors, so i only use keyword anchors now, and use other stuff such as PR and Web 2.0s just to dilute the anchors.

What do you do for hosting these days? Have your own servers? I know a guy who made hosting company mostly so he can host his PBNs, says it's much cheaper and easier to manage.

And how did you managed to host 50 domains on 1 aws, im really interested in this :)
I won't take that risk atleast for 20+ 100$ domains from aution.Try this if you want.

If you want to dilute the anchors make more links, on less powerful PBN sites or web2.0 why to waste most powerful PBN sites? Though google mostly decide relevancy based upon your money site content but I have yet to see a proof that anchors as keywords completely lost the value as claimed.

Own servers, it requires a bit technical knowledge but I am an engineering graduate :) Even if you know very less you can still host on own server using endless guides available on internet + some troubleshooting.

If you want to host multiple sites on aws there are two limitations. Resources and single IP. There are plenty of free solutions to remove both these problems which I really cant disclose, however if you brainstorm a bit you will find answer to them.

I use nginx on server as its less resource intensive than apache and faster and never install that bulky and pricey cpanel, there are free alternative to it and also you can do it manually which drastically reduces the server load.

My network site pagespeed score (on same aws server) is better than one of my old money site on hostgator :( You can see the difference between fooling the world by selling and testing themselves. I have created some scripts and mechanism to reduce the time to setup a server and host a site and I can host a site with wordpress installed on brand new hosting account in less than 30 seconds with my own free tools which is not possible with cpanel and this include creatig hosting account for that site.
last comment? =))

Guys, you should relax more. Depending on how many pbn links, velocity, how strong your pbn domains are in correlation with your money sites domain means domain authority, existing backlink profile etc. a google dance might be extremely heavy after the update in september.

Now look at this website.

I stopped making PBN links around 25th december. Made around 15-20 pbn links. Looks like money site got penalized right? Well, this is Googles strategy after the september update. They want to scare you. They don't want you to make strong backlinks and if you make backlinks your rankings will drop so hard, that you will remove the backlinks you just build.

In case of this website and its rankings above - I will update this in 2 - 6 weeks in this thread.

Actually I got this kinda google dance before with other websites.

Look at this one as well:

and another keyword - same website:

You can see when I made pbn links. Website almost disappeared in the serps. No rankings at all. I already thought the website got penalized, but then suddenly all the keywords sky rocket in the Top 5.

This is really interesting...
I'm anxiously waiting for your Update in two Weeks time...

So you're saying Google doesn't pass the link juice through a 404 redirect? Did you read this somewhere? I always thought they did

Yes, Google will not pass any link juice if you 301 a 404. You have to recreate the page then 301 it or just leave it recreated.

I checked my network and i think this is not my problem cause most of my domain have link point to homepage. Most of them is musicband, restaurant or event website.
My site already on page 1 with about weaker 15 PBN with same building style. What make me confuse is 20 new strong PBNs can't do the shit.

Are the top sites really competitive? Did you do the 15 weaker PBN before or after the penguin update? what kind of anchors were you using on the weak ones?

Quick update: I'm start seeing some movement.

I don't believe that is true, because it depends in a lot of factors like age on url, age on content before been deleted and even links on that url.

And by the way, PBNs are working fine at least for me, I did not have any issues on mine, my rankings are same as before.
