Weird about PBN after penguin 4.0

Dear Mate,

Normally you will get the result with in 3 months. But don't lose your hope. After last update from Google some strange things happening to every one.

Use drip feed methods to build backlink. Concentrate the Anchor text. My suggestion is don't use generic words
thank for your comment.

That whole thing about optimizing anchors is stupid at best. There are upteen number of sites that ranks pretty well even after over anchor usage and some site that ranks without any proper anchor usage.

You should use exact anchors on most powerful links and partial/generic/full line anchors on other sites. Google devalued anchor usage and mostly rank your sites based upon your content. Thats how they decide the relevancy to the keyword.

Otherwise if I want to tank a site I will buy a sitewide footer link on some forum at cheap prices or blogroll link and due to single anchor Google will penalize the domain.

There are many homemade guru's who churn out new theories in free time like this anchor text over optimization and what not but trust me google is not so stupid, before every algo update they take every singe case into consideration.

There are some fancy words that users throw on every forum and thread like this anchor optimization or buying premium hosting, you can always link it to real world and see how normal webmaster do the things, bloggers do that things and not SEO. This way you will keep your site more natural.

You are wasting your money on premium hosting too. You can even start own hosting server its pretty cheap and very easy to go for instead of buying some fancy hosting where other SEO are hosting there sites and if someone get caught flagging all the ips associated with it.
did you ever build a PBN to rank a site? You are reading "how to rank for newbie " topic and comment here like a seo guru.Premium hosting will be the first thing i buy when i start building a PBN.

I have no ideas about PBN after the updated.Seem it does not pass any juice to the money site.I build about 20 new PBN and test on my two money site(easy and medium competition kw). They have very good backlink profiles(>50rd and have at least 5-10 do-follow contextual links from authority site like this
http://prnt.sc/c1t7ek
http://prnt.sc/c51red
), clean anchor text and history.
I build it on premium hosting and use handwritten content...., and they got indexed very well, but I can't see any movement after 3 months. In the past, I saw the movement after only 1-3 week.

Has anyone the same situation?I read somewhere that Google stops pass juice from the domain that has many 301 redirects to homepage...

after penguin 4.0, i bought some powerful pbns for my websitepowerful enough to take me to no 1 but its a month now and nothing...google is ranking based on backlink relevancy now...after penguin update my links starts getting indexed day by day and finally i am left with 600 backlinks when i used to have roughly 12,000 backlinks from many root domains...th new update messed things up for everybody so dont be surprised if you see some extraordinary things happening to your website..google is taking seo to the next level

Usually I would see a movement withing 4weeks~ since the indexation of a link, now after 6weeks~ I still don't see any movement for 2 of my money sites (PBNs are super strong, anchor and all that is good also), and based on people having the same experience as I do I'd say something is not right for sure.

I will jump on the 301 of dead pages to homepage. Google said that it is indeed considered 302 weak redirect, but my experience is completely different. Still, just to be sure, I would recommend to recreate the inner pages with the most links pointing to them. 404 plugin may be a footprint, but if you use just on the sites where really only small percentage of links points to homepage, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Diversify, diversify, diversify.

I have an interesting case to share. I got a nice domain with decent backlinks and I'm pretty sure it has clean history (not 100% sure). So i put up a site couple of weeks ago, at first google indexed a few pages but later site got completely deindexed. I decided to dig deeper what was up as I couldn't believe they caught it almost instantly. I added it to google console to see whats up, and found that no manual penalty is applied and everything looks clean.

According to server logs I found that it had several links pointing to domain.com/somepages.php from forums in foreign language, links are plain urls as anchor. Googlebot was hitting these 3 pages hard and as I had 404 pages redirected to homepage with plugin - decided to deactivate the plugin and just let it be as 404s, now waiting to see how it all turns out.

I will post an update as soon as I see what happens. I have a gut feeling it has to do something with new penguin, as I have never seen something like this happen in the past.

i did not real all but google will never have a chance to find you PNW if you do it right.

May be you got carried away with my number of posts :)

Well let me tell you I have bought more domains in last month than most people here in entire IM carrier. I use to sell SEO in 2011 on warriorforum via PBN when most kids were not even aware of the name PBN. I am not active here, stopped wasting my time on forums longtime back and its just yesterday when I need extra network I came searching for a good one.

I am no guru but I got extensive experience with every single component of PBN you cant possibly think. From building custom wordpress themes for my own network, to plugins to setting up unmanaged servers and binding IPs to them. Drop catching to heaviest possible scrapping via dedicated servers there is nothing that I have not done when it comes to setting up a network. This all may look like bragging but its not even the tip of iceberg. I have designed my own crawlers(not very efficient but they get the job done) before tools for scrapping expired domains were available and hosted over 400 sites on a single server.

Dont get fooled with fancy words like premium hosting and premium themes. I have hosted over 50 sites on a single 12 months free amazon VPS and it all worked like charm. Those premium SEO hosting places is the only place I avoid before hosting any single site as some fool will definitely leave footprints on his blog network and flag those IP for manual reviews and you know what will happen after that. Its not even once my network got deindexed, not even once but a few domains deindexation is normal due to history, links, outage and sometime getting caught but never they are able to get even 10 domains and from past 1.5 years total domains go deindexed is 3 and my network is in north of of 3 digits soon to be in 4 digits.

There are many SEO gurus who get fat commission promoting premium hosting and plugins and they fool the newbies for it. After your domain screenshot I checked few of my scrapped list and found such domains but anchors are poor for all of them, most of them were just forum profile,web2.0 profiles, blog comments but when seen via referring domains in ahrefs looks stunning. Some Press Release also get featured on many news site and that site will look very strong but in reality google most of the time deindex those syndicated content links or devalue them so on blacklink checker tools they may look stunning but never really pass much power, I avoid such domains so I am not sure of the exact effects.

And thanks for your comment I laughed for good 5 minutes after reading your reply, shown it my colleagues and they all were laughing :) I am not active here and wont be in future, may be my last reply.

OP I think the issue is with your PBN domains, you would have seen some action even after 3-4 good links from PBNs

lol =))

Are links from these PBNs the only links to your site? Have you diversified your link profile? If Google sees only very powerful links to a site they think doesn't have a lot of authority then they might take a closer look.

Does your site have the kind of content that would merit links from really powerful domains?

The links to your PBNs seem to be very powerful alright. But that's no guarantee that they might not have been spammed in the past?

People just seem to listen to everything that's online and forget about testing themselves. Completely agree on anchor texts, I found I get very little power of PBN links with brand or naked anchors, so i only use keyword anchors now, and use other stuff such as PR and Web 2.0s just to dilute the anchors.

What do you do for hosting these days? Have your own servers? I know a guy who made hosting company mostly so he can host his PBNs, says it's much cheaper and easier to manage.

And how did you managed to host 50 domains on 1 aws, im really interested in this :)

Hey man are your linking out to other authority/relevant sites in your niche in your PBN posts? What's the OBL for your PBN's, are you linking all from homepage?

I'm thinking it has to do with your money site.. is it over optimized?

If you want to dilute the anchors make more links, on less powerful PBN sites or web2.0 why to waste most powerful PBN sites? Though google mostly decide relevancy based upon your money site content but I have yet to see a proof that anchors as keywords completely lost the value as claimed.

Own servers, it requires a bit technical knowledge but I am an engineering graduate :) Even if you know very less you can still host on own server using endless guides available on internet + some troubleshooting.

If you want to host multiple sites on aws there are two limitations. Resources and single IP. There are plenty of free solutions to remove both these problems which I really cant disclose, however if you brainstorm a bit you will find answer to them.

I use nginx on server as its less resource intensive than apache and faster and never install that bulky and pricey cpanel, there are free alternative to it and also you can do it manually which drastically reduces the server load.

My network site pagespeed score (on same aws server) is better than one of my old money site on hostgator :( You can see the difference between fooling the world by selling and testing themselves. I have created some scripts and mechanism to reduce the time to setup a server and host a site and I can host a site with wordpress installed on brand new hosting account in less than 30 seconds with my own free tools which is not possible with cpanel and this include creating hosting account for that site.

Could you tell me how you use multiple IPs for different websites on the same aws? If you don't want to share it publicly, you can PM me. If you can't PM, I can PM you :)

Its definitely taking much longer, are the post on the PBN indexed?

Also dont use a 301 plugin.

2. Its useless, google does not pass any link juice if you 301 a dead page. Its a soft 404.

So you're saying Google doesn't pass the link juice through a 404 redirect? Did you read this somewhere? I always thought they did
