Weed Journey

Hello all,

I'm starting this journey in an attempt to document and keep myself motivated to start growing some passive income. I don't have much experience in IM or web desing but I'm sure I'll come up with some ideas after a few hits.

What I did:

1. Registered a domain in the country I live.
2. Got a $1 hosting here at BHW.
3. Installed WP theme and wrote 1 article about cannabis legislation in my country (hot topic in local news right now)
4. Installed FB plugin and created FB page
5. Liked page and invited two friends.
6. Joined and liked other niche related pages/groups and commented on them
7. Added two affiliate network ads at the right side of the page.
8. Created 3 pages/menu and added contact form plugin

This is how the page looked like yesterday:




Last 7 days:
Affiliate 1 clicks: 3
Affiliate 2 clicks: 28
FB Likes: 12
Sales: 0


TO do next:
-Comment on some other fb pages/groups using own page
-Add some more articles
-Do some SEO. (wait, what is SEO?)
-Add more plugins (Adsense?)

Open to any recommendations and suggestions

Exactly, troll them they bite very fucking hard. Nearly as hard as the pro / anti Trumps. You only have to throw them half a biscuit.

Negative impression on anything can get most number of hits.. Trolling is now a marketing strategy

I'm getting all from facebook, I need to work on seo to get google visits. Tried a few keywords that I would like for my site and it does not show up, of course some magic has to be done and I have to learn or pay someone to do it.
There's so little competition and 3 top sites are wikipedia, one blogspot page and facebook pages.

Before you can create a page, did you make a fake Facebook account?

I read marijuana related content is against Facebook rules.

thanks! I've found a driver's licence on the street the other day and I created/verified a fb profile with it, planning to use it to verify on some forex/crypto/credit card sites later but it's ok for facebook I believe.
I follow lots of fb pages/groups/individuals with cannabis related stuff and I've never seen anything taken out like they take out porn, tits, violence, etc.

Posters outside the local benefits office.

Adverts on sites, paid of course... Good luck with google adsense i doubt they pot you up with a listing on weed!

I will give you an idea..

Like @mickyfu said troll the fuck out of them.. But this is a long term strategy and may require a bit of budget..

Step 1: Use AdWords. Yes you heard. There are people on here that sell $100 vouchers for like $6-8, so that can get you started with quite a bit of impressions and clicks if you do it right..

Bid for pro weed terms and target your country. Make an anti weed article. Just use blogspot or whatever. But make it a separate entity from your actual brand/site. So for example if someone searches BEST BONGS IN [COUNTRY], have an article with a title like 5 REASONS WEED MAKES YOUR MOM SAD..

Trust me if someone is a stoner and they saw something along those lines after searching for weed stuff, they have a 420% chance of clicking that shit. It's just playing on emotions of someone attached to something. Like if someone searches BEST MILF PORN & you have an ad saying STOP PORN. JESUS IS WATCHING YOU, or if someone searches for BEST BIBLE VERSES and your ad says CONVERT TO ATHEISM NOW they will most certainly raid that click button..

Step 2: This page is only for the purpose of PIXELING that user to retarget later. So drop your pixels on the page. Due to the nature of your article, people are likely to share it with their stoner friends as they want to laugh at you ridiculing them, so make the article as FAKE NEWS as possible in order to sort of go viral..

Step 3: Now you will retarget everyone that visited your site. It will be a mix of people who saw your ad after they were searching for BONGS which means they have buyer intent + their friends in the same niche which are more than likely similar to them. You of course can't sell the weed stuff as it against most ad network TOS. So the goal here is to get the email of the user as you can market whatever the f888 you want to them via email..

Step 4: Create a new different site & embed a viral quiz. Use a different site as you don't want to be associated with the anti weed site you were just using to pixel people. Make the quiz about something like ONLY TRUE STONERS CAN PASS THIS QUIZ. There are a few platforms that can create quizzes for you which ask for the email to find out the results.. If you can't find it will be pretty easy to code, so hire a coder on here..

Step 5: Email them the direct offers, or you can warm up the list with content if you wish..
