I have one educational news website 6 months old. It is verified at google news & Flipboard. It has accounts on many different social media platforms. And also contains one .gov backlink & DR is 6, DA = 16 & PA = 22. Though I am receiving only 20-30 visitors per day even my contents are plagiarism-free. Can anyone suggest to me any good suggestions for getting traffic? My contents also get indexed by google within 1hour of posting on my website.
[N:B: 5 months ago it started receiving traffic over a hundred per day for 5 or 6 days, but suddenly it kept decreasing & decreasing simultaneously. Is my competitor doing anything with my website?]

As you said, you have accounts on many social platforms.
Try to run ads to drive traffic to your site. For example, FB has a fairly simple interface for launching ads on its own. This will not cause problems.

You said that you have accounts on different social media platforms.

If I were you, I’d go through those platforms and look for specific places—like Facebook groups, for example—that already publish content similar to yours.

What's important is you should pay attention to the engagement signals of the content being shared.

If they get a lot of likes or people are commenting and sharing, those are precisely the kind of engagement signals that you should look for.

If you see these, share your content on those, but also share other people’s content.

Participate. Provide actual value.

The more credible your participation becomes, the more likely people will be okay with you sharing your content.

This is how you can boost your visits.

If I were you, I would transform as much of the temporary traffic into permanent traffic as possible. How?

Set up a mailing list.

When you have a mailing list, every time you send an update, a significant portion of your list members will go back to your site.

This is how you get many bites at the apple.

Maybe this time, they would click on an ad and make you some money.

Look at your mailing list as an endless supply of traffic.

Best of all, it’s your asset—nobody can take it away from you, unlike a Facebook page or group.

Try to increase your social media traffic.
From there you can drive users to your website.
Social media is one of the solutions to increasing traffic.
