I wrote an article about a topic I know, fresh XYZ domain, 0 backlinks got placed on featured snippet only 700k words took 2 months I think. Outranked sites with 30-80 DR 3k words+ daily getting 300-600 visitors.

Then Wrote a 5k word article didn't even rank for my targeted keyword.
