Website disappeared from google?

Right, I'm fairly new to the whole SEO game, but I've recently created a website (end of Jan) and wanted to rank it in Google. I obviously did the necessary steps - using Webmaster tools, unique content, social media, relevant and inbound links etc. I also still buy AdWords from time to time, to drive traffic.

After a couple weeks (when it started to rank in Google), I purchased a few BHW methods (Speed Rank, Yeeha and Crasy links of SAPE) - but I spread it over a couple weeks. I was ranked at the top of page 2 for two of my keywords....last week my main keyword just vanished from Google rankings for a couple days and then came back higher.

But my second main keyword has always been on either page 2/3. Today I've tried searching for different keywords and I can't find my website (not even on the first 10 pages). Obviously if it type in the URL it shows up...but doesn't show with the keywords.

My questions are: Do websites just randomly vanish if they are new? If so, why? and Will it come back?

I've heard of the term "sandbox", but after reading around, people have just made up that word and it's just a myth.

Your site may be de-indexed by Google.

Did you check Bing/Ask search?
 
check site:yourdomain.com if it doesnt show anything then your site might be banned by google.
 
Like I said: That's not a problem, I have been able to find my website in Google if it type, site:mydomain.com


 
To be honest it seems like this is a natural thing to happen to new sites. Just wanted to know if anyone has any new information on this problem? / tips.

I guess I'll just have to carry on adding new unique content and try build up back-links slowly (naturally).
 
If I understand the OP correctly, his site didn't vanish, he lost ranking for a keyword. It happens all the time. It may have to do with the "Google dance" you mentioned about your other keyword. Another possibility, it ran into a manual review for the other keyword? It sounds like the pages look good from what you've said, so barring that do you see your competitors pushing a lot of links? It may be someone out SEO'd you in the mean time for that particular keyword. Lots of possibilites but in short, yes I've had sites go from number 1 to page 100 after a review or the algoriythm realized it was spam and still remained "in" google.

Not sure sandbox is a myth, especially for new sites but I haven't dug that deep.

Check out babarali124's suggestion for site:youdomain.com search if you have not already. They may have de-indexed the page you had ranking.

Thanks for the reply, yeah my site is still indexed by Google...maybe it will come back in a few days. I'll just continue to add new content and hopefully they will see the backlinks aren't spammy. Cheers
 
u say its still indexed check the website rank maybe dropped alot
 
Is your site still ranking for some easy keywords (like 3 or 4 words) ?
 
Most likely dancing for the term, you overoptimized the keywords or you have a lot of negative link velocity.
 
If you can find your site using site:yourdomain.com, then you site is definitely not deindexed.
Stop scaring your self :)
 
I have a one website of mine that ia rather old (2 years) and in December I ordered some services for this website, where I probably overoptimised the anchor text. The website disappeared for the main keywords, but still receives some traffic for long tails (it has many sites since it is an e-shop). So maybe the solution for OP would be diversifying anchor texts.

Sandbox is not a myth, while it's not on all industries it does exists. Where you can find the sandbox? Google has worked with the sandbox for so long it's impressive how it works now. Many people will tell you - I'm ranking top 10 for my keyword. When you look at it the domain is somethingverylongasalongtailkeyword.com and the keyword is some long ass long tail keyword that has less than 1,000 searches per month.

Does same people get dropped when Google finds it's not a quality site and you see them posting ... oh the cruelty, Google deindex my site.

Any way, your site is not deindex if you see it by typing site:youdomain.com, you where moved to lower pages usually below the 4th page. Other times you won't find your site. It means you have been sandboxed. The sandbox is not a penalty, the sandbox is the bench. Think of it as a basketball team. The hire a new player they bench him for a few games until eventually he gets out of the bench and plays. The only players that don't see bench from day 1 is star players, and Google does not see your site as a star player.
 
I believe they call this "dancing" give it time to dance then you'll see if your lower or higher.

As you said; you bought services and had them spread out periods of time, try not to over-do it .. it's happen to me in the past where you think you're smarter than google & then they show you your place.
 
Same situation for me man...let's hope this is just a google dance..
