We have had very bad experiences with Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer and other platforms. The developers, designers and coders there are all very slow and usually far too expensive. At the beginning, they always promise the gold from heaven, but nothing is delivered. Projects that could be implemented in 2 weeks take 6 months, the coders are not independent and the quality is generally poor. What you tell people is not implemented and generally you have to explain everything X times so that something is done at all. It doesn't matter whether they are Indian, Ukrainian, Russian, German or anyone else, it's all the same.
That is why we are looking for an alternative. We just give the project, say what we need and give examples. We then agree on a fixed price (which can easily be changed at the end) and a fixed period of time. During this time, the project is to be completed and finished. Of course, the developer can check everything beforehand and give us his assessment.
We don't want to communicate with the developers themselves, but with project managers from larger teams. The implementation of the project is then the project manager's problem.
Are there such platforms and websites where exactly this can be found? Can anyone recommend good agencies?
