Hi, community - I'm new here so please forgive if these questions are commonplace.

I have a small portfolio of sites and would like to increase their ranking in the SERP. I don't do any link building really - I know i should, but time and money are a stumbling points for me.

I have been looking into getting Rankerx and building out a number of T1 blogs with content - supporting T2 and maybe T3 - From my limited understanding, this can be quickly and easily achieved through tools like Rankerx.

1) Does this tactic still work and is it safe or will I likely get penalized by google and harm my site?
2) If I wanted to add juice to a home page, I would create the web2.0s and link from the T1 to the money site home page - but if I want to then create juice for a post on that money site, would I create separate web2.0s for that 1 page or use the same batch of web2.0 and create new pages on the web2.0s T1 with links to other parts of my money site - essentially having multiple links pointing back to my money site from the same T1?
3) Could I just rely on this as a link-building strategy, or is it still recommended to implement other techniques also such as guest posts etc. (obviously, other tactics are better but are they essential to dilute the web2.0 signals)

Maybe i have completely missed the mark and this method is completely useless now - but love to hear from you guys i could do with your guidance :D Thanks

I haven't tested real spam methods with SEO tools in awhile.

I'll say a few things though:

A. Don't (a suggestion) spam backlinks with tools like RankerX/GSA directly at your money site (tier 1).

B. You can use RankerX/GSA to prop up your tier 1 links that aren't guest posts or niche edits (such as other web 2.0s or social bookmarks).

There is also a linkbuilding thread that I think you should take a look at: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/guide-thinking-on-a-link-building-strategy-from-scratch.1398106/

Its been a while since I looked into RankerX, do you have a list of sites that they work with?

it is 2022, and you care about sustainable solution, do not even think about automation tools. eventually, it will catch up with you and you have to restart.

Thank you for your reply

Thanks for that link, I will look into these backlinking methods too.

My general idea was to create multiple mini blogs with original content that niche relevant to my main blog. And have each of these mini blogs link to my main site.

I would have used Rankerx to add juice to the mini-blogs (and possibly used Rankerx to help create the mini blogs - but I would add the content on each of them and turn them into mini blogs)

Would this be the correct way to go?

Thanks for the reply.

Although i do agree that in 2022 there are advancements in the algo that can detect such footprints - Hence why i would implement a tiered architecture and not point anything directly at my main site other than the much cleaner mini-blogs.

Even using this method, do you feel the risks are not worth it?
