We Are Living Because we Don't DIE

So what exactly makes you sad about this?

I have updated my post

Hope you're ok and if you need to talk I am here. Yeah, life can be depressing at times but again just take one day at a time.

Don't stress yourself about things you can't control.

I am not depressed or stressed. I am a firm believer that this world is not going to give me permanent joy which is what I am looking for and which is what makes be sad.

And what? Does it mean you should just kill yourself now? Because at the end we all gonna die?
You live for memories, moments, joy, and laughter. And if you have money, a healthy family, friends & girls ( wife, hookers or whatever) you can have more memories, more laugh and great moments.
So live for the moment, or get a rope and end it, because that mindset is just stupid.

No, I didnt say we should kill ourself but we should find a way to find ever lasting joy.

I thought I was a pessimist until I read the way you think life works.

I am not pessimist but looking for a valid answer which no one seems to have.

We need to keep achieving new goals, have new experiences, meeting new people, and all of this!

I think if we stop trying to achieve new goals, be it money, success in career, etc. We just get depressed and all motivation goes away, at least all the time it happened to me, I felt this way.

Try to understand how things are going in your life and see if's everything ok, if not search for solutions and take action!

All the best!

Even the new goals, new people are all gonna be finished/perished one day. Again, nothing permanent.

Indeed, we have to live on the present. Your comment marks my thoughts

A very interesting and undebatable fact is that everything happens in the presence. Even the past happened in the presence and the future will happen in the presence.

Tell that to a child that has just lost it's parents and see how much value this mindset has

Childish answer.

We are different. We think different. That was my conclusion. Others may not find it useful as that's the point you're limited at.

I ain't no guru, and I am no Messiah. By using our logic we can assume things. So if a child lost his parents, what? It's sad, yes - from a human perspective. And that's because you perceive death as something that shouldn't happen.

I'd like to explain to you a few of my concepts and thoughts but I'd just waste my time.

#For everyone else - Be who you want to be, do what you want to do -

Whatever is going on, let it be going on. Don't think too much. Just update it on time and you will be fine.

Grind enough to get yourself on one of this https://www.alcor.org/ or make your own for your family for a couple of mills

you are too depressed(ive) OP.

Eternal joy / happiness does exist, but it will never be granted by physical objects. Not even by money, as some lunatics might say. Eternal joy and happiness comes from within, and if it doesn't come from there it needs to come from doing good deeds and from creating goods that support and / or enhance life.

That's what I am trying to say. Joy comes from within, not from outside world or physical objects, so why should I go after worldly joy which is not lasting.

Worldly joys are still important because they give small, temporary boosts to our soul. No one can live for an extended period of time without pleasing their soul with small joys... not without turning heartless anyway and / or developing depression, pathological hate towards others living creatures, and other dangerous illnesses.

So, worldly joys as you call them, are important. Just don't worship the objects that give you the small pleasure or you will become their slave

We are living just for the sake for living? As we don't die, we keep living?

As far as I am concerned, everything I see around is going to be perished -Be it Money, house, family, car everything.

Yet we work day and night to earn which one day is going to be burnt. Even our own bodies are not going to survive, yet we go all out to make it perfect.

Strange but True. Same thing birds and animals do? They feed their bodies, their family and die one day.

Similarly, our family members and people around us will all go one day.

I didn't find anything which is stable and ever lasting. Everything is changing - we were once young, now we are adult, one day, we will get old and Die.

This thing makes me extremely sad because we cant find happiness in anything which is not everlasting or stable.

For example, we buy a car - At the time of buying a car, we are extremely glad and happy but after a day or so, it met with an accident. Car got damaged, we got sad. So where that happiness gone? If the car was to give us ever lasting joy, why did we get sad? Because the happiness was not ever lasting.

Another example is : One gets blessed with a child but he gets sick after some days. Feeling of joy at the time of child birth vanished?

It means there joy of born child was temporary, not permanent.

I am looking for a joy that is ever lasting and forever, not a temporary one.

Just sharing my thoughts.
Suicide is forbidden because what happens afterwards is much worse for those who dare to do it. This means that you are going to stop complaining and start solving your problems one after the other.
Life is a daily struggle that you have already accepted by coming into the world, now fulfill your contract.

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Very true. Only one thing can't be see, else everything is seen. And that one thing is what I am looking for.

Sounds like an existential crisis to me. Your points are valid, however, think that it's a matter of perspective.

Despite how evolved we are scientifically and technologically right now, we still don't know anything about the nature of reality or consciousness itself. We have endless topics that we have no answers to and makes life more interesting, we have something to aim to achieve, to understand.

But just to put it a little bit of perspective, if we are not created just by an incident (get born, live and die, game over) and if we continue to exist beyond death, then maybe things we experience here are not random or pointless. We can't prove any of that, but if you choose to believe that everything is pointless as it will all vanish, then it can only lead to an existential crisis and a depression. Been there myself. Instead, enjoy life, enjoy nature and be grateful for being alive and having all experience you have in your life. Oh, and good/bad, happiness/misery, etc - those are all human constructs based on personal moral values and views.

I don't think everlasting joy/happiness is possible here. Well, not with the current state that we are (violent, aggressive, etc)

You don't look for joy and happiness. It is already within us. Its just people complicate things too much that they are always in search of happiness.

Yes, everlasting joy and happiness are within but we have not experienced it yet.

So we need to get that out from within so we can experience it. And that is possible only when we show back to lust, anger, greed, ego etc because they keep dominating our minds all the time.

Within ourself, either eternal joy can stay or worldly . We don't experience eternal joy because we are filled with worldly thoughts and desires.

Many form of joy or happiness are short lived and most people in the world don't have joy ..including those forging the one world government

There is a joy or happiness above all...this joy is known when the soul gets it

Having children ,having a house,a wife/husband and gaining all things in the world..which never satisfy the soul does nothing..this joy isn't just in the inner self..its found in one ..by One who said

I am the way the truth and the live...and just like some one posted earlier

Everything we see now are temporal... Only the unseen is eternal

How you get to see the unseen is the major task for every soul..its extremely personal
