We Are Living Because we Don't DIE

We are living just for the sake for living? As we don't die, we keep living?

As far as I am concerned, everything I see around is going to be perished -Be it Money, house, family, car everything.

Yet we work day and night to earn which one day is going to be burnt. Even our own bodies are not going to survive, yet we go all out to make it perfect.

Strange but True. Same thing birds and animals do? They feed their bodies, their family and die one day.

Similarly, our family members and people around us will all go one day.

I didn't find anything which is stable and ever lasting. Everything is changing - we were once young, now we are adult, one day, we will get old and Die.

This thing makes me extremely sad because we cant find happiness in anything which is not everlasting or stable.

For example, we buy a car - At the time of buying a car, we are extremely glad and happy but after a day or so, it met with an accident. Car got damaged, we got sad. So where that happiness gone? If the car was to give us ever lasting joy, why did we get sad? Because the happiness was not ever lasting.

Another example is : One gets blessed with a child but he gets sick after some days. Feeling of joy at the time of child birth vanished?

It means there joy of born child was temporary, not permanent.

I am looking for a joy that is ever lasting and forever, not a temporary one.

Just sharing my thoughts.

So what exactly makes you sad about this?

Hope you're ok and if you need to talk I am here. Yeah, life can be depressing at times but again just take one day at a time.

Don't stress yourself about things you can't control.

In a few trillion years the sun explodes and destroys our whole solar system. So what?

If it feels right it probably is right and if it doesn't feel right we change it. If you feel alright without doing then stop it

And what? Does it mean you should just kill yourself now? Because at the end we all gonna die?
You live for memories, moments, joy, and laughter. And if you have money, a healthy family, friends & girls ( wife, hookers or whatever) you can have more memories, more laugh and great moments.
So live for the moment, or get a rope and end it, because that mindset is just stupid.

I do think by that time humanity either won't exist or just moved away. Or just replace organic life with artificial life - There are many things we shouldn't argue about.

Tomorrow the end might come. We are helpless yet we are alive. How? Who knows?! For some is a God, for some is the Universe, for some is nothing, for some is science, and so on.

Thinking about stuff like death is fine. Yet death is just another term that came alive through our methods of communicating "Language". Death does not really exist if we don't think about it. We call them life and death yet we don't know anything about them. What we know is based and assumed, nothing really interesting if you're the least open minded.

In my conclusion: Life, Death -> Terms invented by humans. Nothing more, nothing less. What they are nobody knows. Why assume that death means dying? And why assume that life is living? Weird things you should consider before letting them consume you.

I thought I was a pessimist until I read the way you think life works.

If happiness were everlasting we'd be still in ice age. The drive for happiness is what drives our species.

Don't fall into materialistic mindset. Learning a new language or talking to a new person should bring u happiness more than buying a car.

I recommend reading "The power of now" from Eckhart Tolle. It's my favorite. This explains pretty well why this will never give us the happiness we want as those "everlasting" things are always objects of the past/future, and past/future is always a projection of now, the presence.

What about driving in a new car to a new country to learn new language and talk to new people, that shit is on another level!!!!!

We need to keep achieving new goals, have new experiences, meeting new people, and all of this!

I think if we stop trying to achieve new goals, be it money, success in career, etc. We just get depressed and all motivation goes away, at least all the time it happened to me, I felt this way.

Try to understand how things are going in your life and see if's everything ok, if not search for solutions and take action!

All the best!

I think striving for goals/success is very valuable, but when we identify ourselves with that we will never be truly happy. We should never have an excuse to not be at the highest level of happiness even when we haven't reached X. Because when we identify ourselves with reaching X we won't be happy anymore as soon as we got there and repeat over and over again.

Tell that to a child that has just lost it's parents and see how much value this mindset has

Come on, snowflakes. Get your shit together. What the fuck.

Indeed, we have to live on the present. Your comment marks my thoughts
