Watermark urls: will they work to drive traffic from facebook groups?

Hi,

Forum newbie here and was hoping to pick your brains on the following

Basically, I'm hoping to drive traffic from FB groups (other people's groups, just to be clear)
My strategy will involve the following:

1. Uploading custom videos to groups and including a link to a landing page in the description.
2. Posting infographics to the groups that contain a CTA alongside a url redirect watermarked at the end of the infographic.

Since I won't be directly posting links into the groups, will I be safe doing so? In other words will I avoid having my posts/videos removed or, worse, being banned?

I should also add that the videos and infographics will stand on their own as useful content. None of them will be promotional. The only promotional aspect of them will be the link in the descriptions of the videos and the CTA and Watermark URL at the end of the infographics.

Looking forward to your insights.
Good ad account can help you do what you need. Use accounts with US Timezone, Country, Currency. I think that will be a good account

Watermark URLs can drive some traffic from Facebook groups, but engagement is usually low unless the content is highly valuable or eye-catching.

If you use other people's groups to pull Traffic, you must pay attention
- Exchange benefits or rent groups
- The number of posts is not too much
- The content pulled is not too obvious

You can safely execute this strategy if you optimize your images, videos, content, and gradually increase your budget as they become effective.

Sharing links is also quite ok if the posts that you or your group share Links have a high number of interactions then the clicks on your links are also quite high if the content is relevant.

nothing for sure but you can try. I think it will not be as effective as promoting the product directly through campaign ads.
