Hi,

Forum newbie here and was hoping to pick your brains on the following

Basically, I'm hoping to drive traffic from FB groups (other people's groups, just to be clear)
My strategy will involve the following:

1. Uploading custom videos to groups and including a link to a landing page in the description.
2. Posting infographics to the groups that contain a CTA alongside a url redirect watermarked at the end of the infographic.

Since I won't be directly posting links into the groups, will I be safe doing so? In other words will I avoid having my posts/videos removed or, worse, being banned?

I should also add that the videos and infographics will stand on their own as useful content. None of them will be promotional. The only promotional aspect of them will be the link in the descriptions of the videos and the CTA and Watermark URL at the end of the infographics.

Looking forward to your insights.

Depends on your account strength, I tried it too, hope you pass the assessment

Nothing is 100% bro, have you tried it?

No, hence the reason I'm asking here.

I will try it soon enough, but I was hoping that others might have some first hand experience trying out this method and would be able to offer additional tips for avoiding post removals and bans.

When posting videos to groups other than yours, you need to focus on target groups related to your advertising for better results, but when posting, you also need to be approved by the group administrator and you may fee. I think it's something you should probably try but it won't be as effective as advertising your product directly through campaign ads.

Nothing is certain bro, it also depends on the strength of your account. try it to see the results but I think it won't be as effective as running an ad campaign

FB ads are always a bit of luck. Optimize images, videos, content and gradually increase budget when they are effective.

You can safely implement this strategy if you ensure that the content you share is truly valuable to the group community, that your posts don’t look too promotional, and that you follow the rules of each group. Avoiding posting direct links to groups will minimize the risk of having your post deleted, but remember that if you don’t follow the group and Facebook guidelines properly, you can still run into problems.

the way you link i think is ok
the problem is probably your videos
and the accounts you use
are they good and attractive enough

Since it's a genuine value you are adding without promotional content, I believe your post shouldn't be removed. Make sure the watermark doesn't feel like a direct callout.

Avoid making them too obvious or sales-oriented

nothing is certain. Your account must be strong. You should use old accounts with a history of spending a lot
