It was because CSK owner India Cement's Chairman's son-in-law was involved in cricket betting and was found to be in touch with bookies along with Vindoo Dara Singh.

The RM Lodha committee established by the SC recommended that the teams (CSK and RR) not be allowed to participate in the IPL for two years under the current ownership.

Match Fixing was never a part of any allegation.

So yes, your comment is invalid.

P.S - I am from Mumbai and have always rooted for MI. But I'll not stand for baseless allegations.

CSK are favs as per mango people and they will back them to win but bookies and fixers will make SRH win and take all the monnies from foolish mango people. :p I used to be hardcore ipl fan couple of years ago but now I don't take it seriously bcoz its all about fixers, bookies and money making through those ways. I even feel that the bcci and state boards are also involved in such things because if you analyze this years playoff and points table you will realize how they operated the table by keeping the 3rd and 4th place open for more than 4-5 times :D.

Reasons for banning of members is not discussed publicly. It is the decision of moderators.

I can tell you that there is no CSK hating moderator here. So he definitely didn't get banned for supporting the team.
