Hi,

Guys! today i have upaloded a video, i got 1K watch hours ,but due to some music i got copyright not efet the chennal but we can remove it .So replaced a free somg in it, will watch hours will decrese.

Note: i think its deducing can anyone explain me .

if you removed the video the watch time will reduced.Happened to me
 
Just make a new version of the same video with non-copyrighted material and focus on that

Mostly not, but I don't know the recent YT Policy & Updates. Before you delete that Video, Upload a new one with Copyright Free Materials.

Always use your own materials or Copyright Free Materials, More Strike can down your channel, even terminate your entire YouTube Account.
 
If you remove the copyrighted audio, then the watch time will remain the same (as long as you don;t delete the video)

However, if you delete the video itself, then all that video's watch time hours will be deleted with it

If you remove the copyrighted song in the creator studio editor, and replace the audio with a song from YT library, I don't see why there would be issues. All the watchtime you gained from people watching that video should stay. You'd only lose it if you delete that video entirely. Even if you'd shorten your video by cutting out the copyrighted part, I still don't think your watchtime would be affected.

Its 1k why would he have to buy that? I have 1 video with 400k watch time hours...... Also, didn't buy it..

Yes. The total watch hours for the channel will be impacted by deleting videos. The historical totals as shown in YouTube Analytics will not be, though the titles of the videos will no longer be listed, just the video ID of the deleted video.
