Warnning! Dont use Adsterra! Malware infected network

I placed Adsterra.com banner for my mobile visitors in my tube website.

It was very surprising since their CPM was much higher than exoclick, But they will redirect visitors randomly to their malware infected and fake antivirus page. They randomly open popunder, redirect or promote to install software for your visitors.

Running their ads will kill your website.

If you want to use them think twice as you will get banned by google and major web browsers, You will lose most of your visitors, Hopefully I found it soon before some major damage be done to my website

Yeah adsterra is a shit network, just search adsterra malware and you will see a plethora of articles and reports experiencing the same thing you did.
Hope you find a adequate replacement soon.

dude every single advertising code in your website is sending visitors to malware websites. You are part of this scam and you are fully aware of it. Your network is being use for spreading botnets, viruses, ransomware ....

Stop acting like you dont know whats going on.

every single click on mobile device will be promoted in downloading a virus or a fake tech support scam or installing randsomware on computer. There is no clean ad on your whole network. You dont have 1 clean advertiser.

I want everyone here to know that I personally took time out of my day and signed up for this account on this forum JUST to tell you that this EXACT (and I mean EXACT) thing happened to me within 24 hours of putting Adsterra ads on my WP site.

They suck you in via fake reviews like this: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/adsterra.com

And then you are amazed but the higher CPM.

Then, the next day Google sends you an email like this saying all your Google Ads are stopped because you have malware on your site. If I had enough money to sue this company, I would.

I sent their customer support a message immediately and they've been giving me the run around for 2 weeks (literally) saying their dev team is looking into it.

This is 100% a scam, don't trust them. They'll say whatever they can to try to keep their malware codes on your site for as long as possible.

I registered just to say that everything in this thread is true. I signed up for Adsterra, created a banner, put the code on my site and wanted to check it. First surprise is that the ad server returned HTTP 403 error. Weird. Thought it's a temporary issue but turns out they meticuously block all VPN and Tor access (I normally connect using a VPN). Okay, fair enough. Checked through a residental connection and it didn't even show the banner, just instantly redirected me to a malware website every time. I had to shut it down after 5 minutes.

Conclusion: this is a malware distribution network, not an ad network. Stay away at all costs.

NB their ad serving code is garbage. It's not asynchonous and stalls the entire site until the ad is loaded, but I guess it's not a concern when you don't really care about serving ads.
NB2 they block Tor and VPN access most likely to prevent security researchers from obtaining the malware samples and analyzing them rather than to avoid fraudulent traffic.

higher CPM but malware adverts, stay away from that shit network. I have seen many people getting website blacklisted on google because of adsterra.
 
I just started with adsterra and I only put banners and even so it redirects to other websites that is when I enter from my ip everything is normal but if I enter from another you realize
 
I agree, I used Adsterra once and their ads are very shady.

Yes, I also agree with your post. In 2021 I used this Adsterra network, but I didn't know what was happening with my blog and how I got $ $ $$$ without clicking. One person contacted me about my blog, and he told me that when I open your blog, there is automatically opened one page filled with the virus; please remove these small ads banners. I have removed those shitty ads. Then I again move to Adsense, and I get good revenue than adsterra network.

I thought that adsterra was better than Adsense, but I was wrong.
