Hey,
I took a look at my big G analytics the other day and noticed one of my self hosted wordpress sites was ranking for some indian actresses and indeed a feminine adaptor. Nothing strange in that you may ask but the problem is the site is an insurance related niche......
I checked the page which was ranking for these dumb keywords and discovered that the title tag had been compromised and the keyword had been inserted at the end of the title tag. In addition to this some 300 comments had been left which again contained the various keywords to help gain ranking....
Now, I know I should have closed the comments (which I now have done) to stop this spamming but I am concerned how they managed to inject the keyword into the title tag - has anyone seen anything simular to this and if so what caused it?
