Hi guys,

we're professionals when it comes to our industry, but not really experienced in building landing pages. Have made a landing page for our product, a PWA for tipsters&their followers. Primary goal of it is, to convince the end-users (followers of the tipsters) to sign-up. The images attached are screenshots from Figma for the v1 its a one pager mobile page. To be able to get a closer look of the whole page, I've cut it into parts: 1.About Votebetting App, 2.Why use Votebetting, 3.What our users are saying, 4.FAQs, 5.Contact us. It's d

What do you think where are the areas of improvement? Would love and be very thankful to get honest feedback on:
  • Design: Well just the design, elements in general, first impression?
  • Copywriting, content: Does the messaging clearly convey the value proposition? Is there something too much/missing?
  • User Experience (UX): Is the flow smooth? Does the design encourage users to take action?
  • Conversions: What elements might be holding users back from signing up, and how can we optimize them?
  • Other Observations: Anything else you notice that could make it more effective?
Your insights would mean a lot to so please don't hold back to be candid and direct - I appreciate constructive criticism!
Thanks in advance for your time, expertise - you're the best! :D

Any landing page, UX guys out there? This is a chance to "Put your money where your mouth is", free PR if you're offering landing pages that convert service ;) Here the link to the page, didn't want to share it before, since there are bugs on the site. Keep that in mind please don't hold back frankly telling what you think!
Thanks

Hello,

Zooming in on presentation images is disturbing.
Otherwise, I love the fact that the pages are translated, which can only be good for your business.

Hi TonySo, thank you for your input! It's one of the bugs - the whole image reel area needs to be smaller, vertical scroll is not working as it should, image should open on tap, not zoom as you mentioned.
You get shown the language-version based on your IP (another bug there). I'm not 100% sure about the quality of the translation...if you're by chance Spanish/Portoguese/Italian speaking, let me please know if the message did get over to you well...?

Do see you're a new member, so welcome to BHW, it's a great community! Don't judge by the feedback on my post haha but in general the guys here are very cooperative! :) Have a pleasant Sunday.

Hi d1g1nomad, thanks for the end of your message.

Concerning the “bug” about the zoom, I hope you'll find a solution. I'm French and the translation is 100% correct. The fact that the language is based on the user's IP address is what is used by most websites.

I can’t access to your website , it says restricted

Ohh I'm really sorry - you gotta have an IP from one of the countries we don't accept users from (US, Belgium, UK...)

Its a social app, but we do advertise gambling in the app and the laws in some countries are just insane :/ Don't want to run into troubles at the begining, so we restricted access. Actually discussed the other day to have IP based adverts in app, feature we have to develop...

@Funiki Have asked the devs to turn off the IP block for now, we didn't launch the beta yet. Check it out, now it should work for you as well ;)

Anyone? :) I'm just in talks with a web-designer, but not a UX pro or marketer. Few things a want to change then sharing again the updated page....

Hi there!

* Well, first of all, make all your interactive elements intuitive - when viewing from desktop, I can't understand if I can click the "install" button or FAQ accordion - turn the cursor into pointer.
* Then, consider changing the first carousel into maybe a full-width slider? It's not functional either - I can't click an image to zoom it and I don't see the full image in the carousel as well.
* Move the video out of the carousel, it would look better.
* 67 tipsters and other stats can be shown in a better way - you can either change the icons or, if you want to show the graph, show it! But show it in the full width and let the visitors see how the numbers were changed over time.
* you can also make the contact buttons clickable. It's not mandatory in this specific case but would allow people to make fewer moves to contact you.

Hey buddy,
thanks a lot for your input; can't belive we missed the basic shiat like the pointer on desktop. Video out is in progress, also the stats part...it just looks shitty. And yes contact button clickable. Going to share once all updated, is going to look quite differently! :)

I'm glad I could help you :)
Yeah, feel free to ping me once you update the page, I'll check it again.

You need to make better use of graphics and icons to convey your message faster. Currently you have text stuffed your page that's good from SEO point of view but for user-friendliness it should also have graphical elements that conveys the message faster without need to read full text though text is available. You can add a graphic in left or right side of each point in first 2 sections- 1.About Votebetting App, 2. Why use Votebetting.

Also it doesn't give a preview of the app so it is hard for users to take action. They can install the app if it makes clear to them what they will get. So giving some experience of what they will get will attract more actions.

Thanks for the input. We're changing the gallery, dropping the video, leaving just the images, in the gallery there are going to be screen examples with "titles" on top.

Our product is a PWA, not a native app or a regular webpage. What we're trying to do with this landing page, is to "mimic" the Google Play/iOS app store look&feel. Not like copying it but at least users should see a screen/layout that they're familliar with. That is the idea at least :)
