want to start an affiliate program for my woocommerce store

hey guys whats up, so basically i want to start an affiliate program for digital products in my woocommerce store but i'm a bit confused.
is there anything i should know first before i start, or which plugin should i use for beginners, i have never done this before, so what would you guys suggest.
any tips or advice is highly appreciated.

i would get the woocommerce affiliate plugin. it's 30 bucks annually, not a bad investment for what you get.

I already got affiliate manager in woocommerce for free and it’s working, but how many affiliates should I have to start seeing good results

depends on how good the affiliates are. you could have one affiliate that brings in tons of sales or 10 affiliates that bring in no sales.

i see, makes sense, so where do you suggest promoting my affiliate link? i already sent an email to my customers and spreaded the words on reddit, got few affiliates signed up but no sales so far

First, you need to be sure that the method you are going to use for driving traffic works. When you are sure, you can go ahead and invest in a plugin.

how long have they been affiliates on your site? what's their experience?

it seems so easy: get affiliates, make money. but it's not that simple. most people who sign up to be an affiliate bring in no traffic, let alone any sales.

put them on an affiliates only mailing list and start sending them tips on how to drive traffic.

I just started the program 5 days ago.
Yea that sounds like a great idea, I’ll send emails as reminder to share my links and give them some motivation

There is an embedded affiliate plugin for WooCommerce. I recommend YouTube for the best promotion.
