I think it is good. Adwords doesnt resonate and was starting to represent the establishment. Especially on Youtube. They now want Google Ad gurus to go out and make plebs spend money on ads- like the Facebook Ad gurus. They are also capitalising on FBs recent bad PR and want to reposition themselves.
I doubt all this changes much in their actual aglos and perhaps simplifies them, but I havent read up enough on it- this is just my birds eye view.

There going in the fb way, Why becouse it works .
Remember yt advertisers moved to fb time back know, Google changing there ways aswell, it a advertisement stunt ask me.
google trying to re event there self agin , in paying traffic.
the world of online has moved so much , google way behind , websites are becomming there own search engines with there self, and offering there own advertising packages, google very frightened it tacken a shit load of revenue off them.
not many are know owned via google on traffic and earning from big self independent websites like fb.
remember google had the whole monopoly for years in advertising , know with these big fb like websites there very worried, as there own revenue is getting less and less , even tho it still huge but loseing a couple million still hurts......
fb can survive with out google any day , but that hurts google very badly and hitting them hard , and others are following.
a lot of people are using Google to goto there favourite website, just in lazyness , this ant no good to google as it a search engine not a place just to get to your favorute website, so chages are needed .
the real deep problam is google has become more data nosy from people information so people are bailing out and going elsewhere and it a fact .
imagine the traffic there losing becouse of there stupid data collecting polices , must be massive becouse there losing custumers via the thousands daily .
i never fort i would ever see the day a website like fb would be more used then google that amazing being honest.
know days loads of other websites are getting huge attaction , it like soon we wont need search enginges , just a browser to view the websites we like only, with out the need of a search engine, becouse most websites provide everthink within there self we personally like.
