Voting for sites in google

yo...i know im not bugging...i was just now googling something and realized there is a lil transparent arrow where u can vote for a site...was that always there or is it something new??...nonetheless i just voted for my own site...im gonna change my ip addy and cc and do it again...im wondering if this will have any value.

 

Haha nah man, what this does is it puts that site at the top of the results, but only for you

Its actually quite annoying, I did it by accident then i couldnt check where my site actually was in the serps because it would always appear at the top for me.

Took me ages to work out how to fix it, and I've since forgotten again.....

 

awww shit...so that means i will never know my real position as long as i check on this pc?

 

Log out of your google account, and you won't see the sites you voted up at the top.

I never saw those lil boxes b4 so i thought google was starting some new shit...its cool tho...back to real work to raising the site...anyone know the best way to structure articles for linkwheels??
