View on Starting an Online Gambling Site

Just got hold of a casino script.

Thinking of setting up an online gambling site.

What do you think of the potential ?

Any advice as I am new to this and what should I take note of ?

Don't expect much.

Major companies (And I mean major) are in bad shape nowadays.
Your script will not solve any problems.

Moreover.. no one will deposit money in a "scripted" website.

Well, unless you are going to brand the site and make is something of the level or better to what the professional poker players and major game sites offer, it will be a tough road, but not unprofitable if you do it right.

However, I have a number of clients that have sites like this and while all are very different in appearance, level and profitability due to their owner's efforts and investment in the respective projects, it is far more profitable to go with a free poker/game site, build a community of users and then promote ads/banners/offers within your system, as something they are used to seeing in those types of sites.


Banners and spot ad rotation works best from my experience.

Focus your cash flow funnels from a couple of major areas:

* Free play limitations/affordable membership access with a point system rather than real cash.

* Advertising clients paying to have their ads in your site rotation and solid affiliate offers that make sense to your clients.

* Player client purchases from your affiliate ads.


If you plan to make a real profit from the ' gambling ' aspect of it, toss that idea, as there is slim to no chance there unless you are going to seriously invest and compete.

Gambling today is one of the most toughest niche for SEO .It takes more than an year and half to bring sites to top 10, plus you cannot do ppc on it unless you know some black hat methods to run your ads
As an affiliate you dont know what is future gaming laws in that country .
like you must be aware with the french gaming laws that suddenly rose up and hit all the major running online casinos

Good gamblers don't waste time with a non top ten software company. Therefore don't expect much.

Look to become an affiliate of an RTG. TopGame, micro-gaming, etc instead.

Trust me, you wasting your time...

Plus what about processing? Customer service? if it is a script might have a ton of exploits and you can loose a lot, I mean a lot!
