Very low or no impressions from hashtags

Hello all.
I'm here to discuss in a serious way a problem that i'm facing using hashtags.
I use two services: hashtastic and flick, to find the best hashtags for my posts.
I only use niche (and specific for the photo) hashtags. I never repeat using them (also cause almost every photo have a different subject and sub-niche).

I try to use 18-25 hashtags for every post composed in this way:
5x <1.000 media published
5x 1.000-5.000 media published
5x 5.000-10.000 media published
5x 10.000-100.000 media published
3x >100.000 media published

I manage 3 accounts:

1) 27k followers - wedding niche
The problem: the posts are getting 1-9 impressions from hashtags, 1.3k impressions from other sources (home, other, ecc...)
What i've done: I removed all hashtag from the last 40-50 posts, i stopped using hashtags from 3 weeks, now i am waiting few more weeks to restart using them. I'm removing all ghost-fake followers (i used ninja-copy to scrape all my follower's details)

2) 7k followers - photography niche (personal brand)
Actual numbers: i restarted using it after 5 years (i paused my personal brand for personal reasons).
Stories get from 250 to 400 impressions
Posts get about 1k impressions (with no hashtags)
The problem: the posts are getting 1-9 impressions from hashtags

3) 100 followers - music niche
It's a new account, no problems at all, almost 200 impressions from hashtags.

What do you think about this VERY strange situation?
What's your tips?
I googled this but there are only tips regarding people who used bots (i didn't).
The only solutions found are to stop using hashtags for some time, removing old hashtags, ecc...
But what from a paused account?

What do you mean?
in the account of 27k i post like 15-16/month. I never post twice a day (but 50% it's a carousel or a video/IGTV)
in the account of 7k i restarted posting once or twice a day (minimum 5hours delay), all carousels with advanced swiping graphics.

Very curious about this as well. I am managing an 100k fitness page that doesnt rank at all on hashtags.
I'm currently pausing the account of all hashtag usage for at least 2 weeks. Curious to see your results from your similiar strategy.

I remember a couple of years ago I had the same problem, and with a brand new account I was constantly ranking on hashtags. Until one day no more, I had used them too much I think
I believe I stopped using the hashtags for a while, came back and it was working. This was years ago however and you know this stuff changes overnight.

Same here. I managed 281 K IG account. It's been a long time since I have traffic from hashtags. I use every technique I know about hashtag, with no luck at all.

We shall start using different strategies.
Make variations on numbers of # used, and see what fits better (try 10#, then 20 ecc...)
Make variations on popularity and difficulty of # (if you know what i mean)
Avoid high difficulty at all.
Be super-specific on your niche.
Fail 75% of the times you follow those rules...

I've seen this come and go over the past year while I've been running a few accounts. I've also seen engagement swing up and down, to scary low levels before with equivalent quality of content. These things have happened in tandem, and separately.

In all cases, the only fix I have found is to simply let the accounts rest for a few weeks and then start again. Typically it takes days of posting to see the numbers I would call average for the accounts.

That said it's absolutely frustrating to go through this and the time frame for the accounts to recover are always variable.

After going through this multiple times, I'm now attempting a different posting strategy to optimize time between these breakdowns in reach. I expect these peaks and valleys of hashtag reach and engagement to happen again and want to make the most of it. No details on whether that will actually work, only time will tell.

Any solution to almost no traffic from hashtags

Are these accounts purchased? Or changed niches? Or dormant for too long?

Either of that or this might sound rude but they're plain boring! Or at least that's what Instagram is thinking.

The impressions are low because the initial segment of followers which sees your posts isn't liking/commenting on it which makes Instagram think that the content is not good enough. This could also be because you've huge number fake followers which don't like any pictures so obviously if they see and don't like, it hurts your accounts.

Solution: Change the way you post your content, up the game a notch, getting back the same engagement would be difficult and can take some time so keep experimenting, try being as active as possible and collab with some people in similar niches with similar numbers.

Still have this issue in my account.
I didnt posted for 2 weeks and it didnt work
Also tried changing to personal account and back to business, still didnt work
