Using Web 2.0's to host PBNs - Does it work nowadays?

I have been looking to build my own PBNs since a few time already,
After some time looking for domains extensions, I can see some that are pretty cheap ($1/year),
Also, I can see that domain extension doesn't have that big impact in SEO (seen real example + in blogs)

However, as I want to take advantage of the free/cheap stuff as much as possible, i was thinking on setting my own PBNs in free web 2.0's, let's say 1 PBN at first in blogger.

It allows you to control over everything basically, it provides good hosting quality for free, which can be used pretty well for PBNs without any footprints (different email + different Cloudflare account)

Did anyone have any experience with setting it the same way?
Will it have the same authority and power as paid hosting?
Any risks? If yes, how big they will be?

I would appreciate any help, especially from someone who tried both blogger and different hosts!

Treat them as money site and make them as relevant as possible.

Add privacy policy, about and contact pages too.

Yes it works. I would also recommend wix and weebly. These can work as anything.

As far as i know wix doesnt allow ******** links anymore

Weebly and Wix require premium plans to use custom domains as far as I know, but there are some good other providers that will allow that for sure!
