Using tumblr description links for traffic on many blogs

So basically ive had a lot of sucsess with heaps of tumblr blogs and i mean heaps. Im always expanding weekly creating more blogs. Theyre mostly gaming and movie topics at the moment.

Im wanting to put a link to my site in the description on each blog and continuing to do so as i create more blogs.
I only post images using the app and have not customised it to any theme. Theyre just default blogs.

Would google penalize my site from having dozens of tumblr description links pointing to my site?
Im doing this purely for the traffic btw

Tumblr blog link is a good source for traffic. But please make no mistakes that these backlinks need to be placed on tumblr blogs that look realistic, they need to look natural.
