User Title Ladders Explained

We get questions every now and then about what your user title is at x post count or what colour your username will be if you buy 2 different memberships.

So, this diagram has been put together that explains that progression. In case it's not clear, the "highest" usergroup that you are in is what your username colour will be.

I put that in as a joke, but yes, we have had people lie about being paid members, as if we weren't going to check their profile to confirm that.

Ps the diagram most probably is generated from diagram.net if I have not mistaken? It’s a coool tool if you even needed to design a flowchart/dfd etc. Give it a try!

I made the diagram using Lucidchart. It's a great tool if you need to make a flow chart quickly.

What program did you use for the chart? Disregard. You said lucidchart.

Didn't know all the rungs in the ladder, so to see it all laid out was helpful for that alone, and it's well organized and easy to understand. Thanks for putting this together and sharing, definitely will reference it for any org / title related questions as a reference. Appreciate you!

And where can i see that count.

I am just curious because i am still a Newbie and not Newbie+

Check out the newbie guide, as it will answer all your questions. Its quite extensive but will show you why you can't see your post count [they are called messages, by the way].

I seem to be having this issue too. I'm still a Newbie even though I have 15+ messages. I read through the newbie guides as well, and I don't see anything relevant. I can see my post count just fine, but my rank is not properly corresponding to the amount of messages

All threads and posts on the forum that are not in the lounge count toward your post count. This restriction in the lounge is mentioned in this newbie guide thread here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a-list-of-sections-with-restrictions.1051614/

You have 25 messages on your account. Your status will stay as "newbie" until you get to 50.

Sorry for the confusion, I thought Newbie would become Newbie++. It does seem like I can send DMs now so I guess my rank has been updated to Newbie++ even though it still says Newbie

Oh, no, it doesn't change your user title to newbie+, it's more of an invisible user title so that you can send DMs.
