Long story in short: platinum designer on a crowdsourcing design site not pleased with income, I decide to diversify my income and here is what I did and will do. Please feel free to comment.

Graphic design: I offer banner design service at a good rate and I will open a new thread here on BHW soon as I will be allowed to do so. I have my own portfolio but due to my poor skills in advertising the site has almost zero traffic. On the crowdsourcing site had moderate success, I will continue to do design job here but fed up with contests there.

Blog: opened a bodybuilding related blog on blogger, is two months old. I write articles myself (for now), post photos and offer iphone wallpapers to download created by me. To date my blog has 2932 uv, traffic is low.

Action:

Every post is submitted manually on google+, twitter and pinterest. With 33 followers on twitter and 4 on pinterest I cannot expect a lot of traffic.

I submitted my blog to gay and bodybuilders directories, traffic is improving every day but more work is required

I created a pattern to post: a sports/ workout article, a post with photos, one presenting affiliate dvd with link to buy, wallpaper post. Repeat. I set up blogger to show only five articles on page.

I have adsense, 3 ads on page - one below post, one skyscraper in sidebar and one manually copy/ paste below the article or photo post.

Klixfeed - in two months only 2,80 usd

DVD Affiliate - no income to date - I promote dvd in sidebar and in a daily post

It is too early to talk about any success with dvds, I promote them on daily basis, 103 views/ clicks, no sales.

It is far better than mine.

I am planning on doing one or two yt tutorials per week.

I found today a bodybuilding nutrition affiliate program, Paypal, 10% commission on all referred sales. Not great but I'll see how it goes. For now I focus on getting traffic, quality posts.

Found some products on amazon and decided to try and see how it goes. For now I have them on sidebar.

Worked in the morning and set up another blog, linked with the first one.

Monetization: adsense combined 1,20 Euro, klixfeed 0,04, amazon 0, dvd affiliate 0. I requested cashout from klixfeed last week, wanted to see how long it takes to receive money in paypal, took 7 hours from payment request.

Traffic from twitter is not what I have expected and from pinterest null. Exchanged blog links with fellow bloggers. Traffic improved but not at good levels.
To date: adsense 1.73 euro, klixfeed 0.1020, dvd 0, amazon 0

Update:

Blogs traffic increases day by day from backlinks. No traffic from twitter, pinterest, delicious. I promote amazon products in posts but no sales to date.

Earnings: adsense 0.24, klixfeed 0.2, dvd 0, amazon 0

Probably I am going to test ppd. I offer bodybuiding related iPhone wallpapers for download (hosted on mega). What do you suggest guys, it will be waste of time knowing the fact that zip file is only 800KB up to 3MB?

Graphic design was better last week, earned $150. Got scammed yesterday, did a banner set without taking upfront payment. My fault.

No sales from amazon or dvd either. Adsense and klixfeed improved. I am focused to create content and promote amazon products and dvds.
At this point I am thinking of entering in a joint venture as I need quality traffic. Soon as I am allowed to I will open a thread in JV section.
