Hi BHW Family,

I am facing a unique issue with my indexing. After publishing an article on the website it shows the status as indexed on GSC (google search console) after 2-3 hours. However, when i search the url with Site:Https://example.com/abc on google search bar it doesnt appear.

This is the first time I came across this issue. I dont know whats wrong.
Also, major traffic i am getting is direct traffic.

Has anybody faced similar kind of issue? If yes, can you please share the solution?

Thanks!

I had that issue as well when I first started my website, after waiting for a day or two, it appeared, so maybe, you need to be a bit more patient?

The issue is that my site is a news website. I will loose major organic traffic if it will appear after few days.

Unfortunately, you need to wait a few days. There's nothing you can do - you are at the mercy of Google.

You're leveraging the Google Cloud API to index the articles forcefully. I'll highly recommend you opt for natural indexing instead and wait for some time. It's a more organic approach that I highly recommend for your articles.

I just set up the API 2 minutes ago. Before that i was doing it organically.

Just go with the natural process otherwise the google will deindex all of your articles once they're indexed with the API key. Believe me it happened to me and all the articles were deindexed

Thanks for the insight mate! Appreciated

This isn't a unique issue. This happens normally these days. Google doesn't guarantee that your page will show up in the SERPs even if it shows it indexed.

As a writer, waiting for something can be frustrating, especially when it's out of your control. You've crafted the perfect piece, and now you're just waiting for it to be seen by the world. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to wait a few days, or even longer, before our content is indexed by search engines like Google. But what can you do in the meantime? There are a few things you can focus on while you wait, and we'll explore them in this blog post.

Lol, there was no need of a AI answer here.
