Likely missing an important point as it relates to keywords and GSC queries. As currently not getting the results I expected.

Each time I make a post, I determine a long-tail keyword I make sure it

1) has significantly low volume &
2) has at least more then 10 monthly searches
(Good KDR value)

Despite this however when I check GSC - my pages that are indexed & valid - do not reflect the keyword I’ve chosen (and utilized throughout the respective posting)

Am I missing something? I thought by utilizing long tail keywords that just about nobody is utilizing and still identified as having search queries I’d see direct correlation in the queries tab in GSC.

Is there a reason I’m not actually ranking for the long tail keywords I choose?

I think your domain does not have much authority, may it be DA or TF or similar. Am I right?

Yeah don’t think it has a lot - Moz says it has a PA of 9 and DA of 8

Here’s it’s Ahrefs standing:

Site been live for 3-4 months - and currently intensively researching backlinks

Is this the reason it’s not connecting the KW to the page / not ranking?

I would build more quality backlinks (301 redirect from high authority domains, good PBNs and guest posts from high traffic+authority sites) and build authority of the domain as without good authority, it is hard to rank any page these days for valid keywords (with searches I mean, how small it might seem). Low authority links are good for diversification but high authority backlinks will take you to the next level.

Maybe try to scan your site for errors.

No errors on GSC, will try out scanning site as well.

Got it thank you.
