Due to insufficient memory, my phone cannot boot. I used the "Retain User's Data" feature of 3uTools, but manually exited the process halfway through. Now, the phone is still stuck in a loop displaying the Apple logo. Regarding backups, my iCloud backup includes basic apps, but excludes the "Photos" app. I have backed up the "Photos" app separately, but without EXIF data. The most important data to me is the app data, as I have no backup of it.

Detailed Process:
Last month, I tried to back up several iPhones using iTunes. For one iPhone, I backed it up three times, but each time, it showed a disconnection error, and the phone displayed that storage was full. Initially, there was 4GB of free space on the phone. During the second backup, about 420GB of data was backed up before the connection was interrupted. After the disconnection, I deleted some apps and freed up about 1GB of space. However, during the third backup, only about 100GB of data was backed up before it showed that storage was full. At this point, the phone had about 300MB of free space, so I manually restarted the phone. After restarting, the remaining space rapidly decreased. When there was only 100MB of free space left, I tried deleting apps, but it had no effect. When the remaining space dropped to just 9MB, I tried another manual shutdown. the phone got stuck in the Apple logo loop and stayed there for an entire day. Later, I tried using the "Retain User's Data" feature of 3uTools. The phone stayed on the "Checking file system" screen for a few minutes. I manually ended the process, but the phone remained stuck in the Apple logo loop.

My Device:

Model: iPhone 11 Pro Max

System Version: 16.5.1 (c) 20F770750d

Capacity: 512GB

My Assumptions and Hypotheses:

The phone has undergone several hard resets and is now in BFU mode, making AFU extraction impossible.

The "Retain User's Data" feature of 3uTools is essentially performing an iTunes "Update" process.

I cannot continue trying further. There are two possible outcomes: the first is the error codes -1110 or -4013, followed by the logo loop; the second is that the phone goes directly into recovery mode.

Regarding MFC and other solutions, as far as I know, MFC only supports iOS 15 and earlier. Devices with Checkm8 can only extract data in BFU mode for iOS 15 and earlier, regardless of whether a password is set. Other software solutions like Flash Fix also integrate MFC functionality.

Some claim that if Cryptex has not been modified (i.e., flash has not been used), it’s possible to patch the directory and allow the system to boot. Regardless of whether this method works, it doesn’t apply to my situation.

I cannot continue trying flash, as it's purely based on probability, and I don’t want to take the unknown risk. I am seeking your professional advice. I don’t have a clear research direction at the moment due to the lack of public technical information. I have two ideas:

Extract the NAND image fully and manually analyze the tree structure, but the problem is that I haven’t found a programmer that can extract the BGA110 NAND.

Enter recovery mode and use professional software to analyze the tree structure and process it. However, so far, I haven’t found any suitable software for this.
