Just to clarify: I was not talking in favor of Twitter. I was just saying things keep changing and to be honest, that's how the world works. Everything changes but we the humans evolve and overcome the challenges.

I am sure most of the guys will still find a way to profit.. :)
 
Could hurt, could help. Prepare for the worst: expect a hit in revenue if you're monetizing twitter and hopefully you're already diversified enough that you can still get by while you tweak strategies to gain back what you lost. Hope for the best: If twitter is giving and edge to what is "more popular" then if you have large, high quality account you could potentially see income rise because your posts are given more credibility and precedence over other accounts.
 
Looks like Social Media is evolving to a future tense pace...

Creative automation will likely boom whereas the old ware might become obsolete.

I imagine myself making more out of each algorithm update despite risks involved because of how advanced my logistic delivery is.

Don't be afraid of change, just keep pushing and you'll always make money at the rates you expect.
 
I just read the first replies, but seriously guys... if you want to be marketers, you should do some research before screaming out loud. I'm not even into twitter and know that this new algo is OPTIONAL.
Simple translation for the dumb:
Everything will stay the same unless YOU change it YOURSELF.

Twitter got the backslash of the century just for announcing this OPTIONAL algo (ofc because no one understand what optional means or didn't even read the original announcement). They would be even dumber than I thought if they would change this to a permanent stupid setting as FB did.

the thing is that there wasn't any official announcement by twitter, all those articles were based on "we might have heard something", that's why i said that there's no point drawing conclusions until all we have is assumptions, the CEO with his statement clarified what will happen, so now it's time for the conclusions :)

Very true. I've read a lot of hearsay and that's the whole point of the thread - to ask what people think the conclusion will be.

You can post something on Facebook but the reach terrible. I hope they don't go down that route.
