Twitter New Algorithm

Twitter and facebook are totally different and twitter will fail by implementing something that works for facebook just because of one thing.

Facebook is divided by groups, pages and person and twitter is not. Facebook can lowers the page reach becouse they know its a page, but twitter can make a difference because they have one acc for all.

So if they lower the reach they will lower it for everyone and whats the point of this for the real user who what to tweet something to there friend. lol twitter will send them a message to advet for more reach.
from what i could gather it seems, that twitter will only lower the reach of smaller accounts with unpopular/unrelevant tweets and big accounts whose tweets can be easily popular just by the number of users they have who like/RT, will become even more popular, because those will be shown to everybody, while the tweets of smaller accs won't be shown

but don't #riptwitter just yet :)

Sounds like a bunch of bullshit. Luckily I don't really drum up as much traffic as I once did through Twitter. Maybe the change may help traffic gen through their platform.

That doesn't make sense though. Why lower the reach of smaller accounts? Their reach is already small.

and like 99% are just the normal users, they are the one that have the smaller reach. More logical top me is to cut the reach to the large accounts as obviously they are the one that need the reach to make $$, so they will be forced to pay for ads.

Its a homicide.I think it will be an option for those who dont like the new timeline..And 80% of users dont like it.

yea, that would be the logical thing to do for them what you're saying

this was in one of the articles i read: "Twitter Would Show Tweets According to an Algorithm of What Could Be Most Popular", if it's true then what i wrote above is also true, because the most popular tweets are tweets of big accounts in the vast majority of cases

but all these articles are just making assumptions what might happen, we draw conclusions based on assumptions :)

i guess we will see soon

The bottom line is this: Companies DO NOT think about their customers.

They might try and come across and make it out that they do - but they don't. They care about making money and that's it.

I think Twitter will slowly die and something new will come out and be pretty much what Twitter is currently. There's always a market for when companies give up on their users and get greedy.

I think twitter will die fast and they know it.
I am not giving up on twitter till I stop earning my last cent but I suggest if you are smart enough you will start experimenting with other networks.

The company itself is at an all time low. This is one of the biggest changes they could make and apparently they are willing to do it. It's time to adapt. Twitter is trying to get into that "pay to play" game to actually make some money.

Yeah I totally agree. The thing is - what else is there to give updates so quick?

Facebook, they have the reach. Instagram they don't allow live hyperlinks (apart from the bio). So it's pretty limited. There doesn't appear to be a: "Update now - get immediate traffic" type platform. This is why I think there's now a huge gap in the market for a new kind of Twitter.

Does it mean our bots will be dead like followliker?

I no account creation harder becouse account needs
to be verified via mobile then a sent code to your mobile
to be entered into twitter to activate your account and there going
to ask for the code to be entered randomly here and there ....

so unless we can get a cheap sms going with useable numbers and
get to redirect all codes to our own mobiles to enter these random codes we are fxxxx

The only route twitter can take is to the cemetery.
They made a crappy platform that they based there network on, there selling point is there biggest weakness...one acc for all, not differentiating public person, companies, the regular users, fan pages....they are all put into one acc category.

And it will be hard to differentiate all of them, and know whom to cut the reach so they can pay. This is why twitter is one of the best spamming platform, they made it that way.

Also later on this will be the same problem with IG.

When Facebook lowered the organic reach, some people were talking about it, some people were making money. It will be the same here.

It would be nice if we could send traffic from Twitter to the next best thing.

Like I've mentioned before, I can log into Facebook and see that my friend 'Amy' liked a post from {random page} - which I have no interest in... what... so... ever! I see 15 of those and I think to myself, why did I bother logging in?

It's making me think I might as well not bother logging into Facebook at all.

There's a massive hole in the market, where a platform takes on all these weaknesses; irons them out and comes out with something that's better than both.

will we find a way, twitter has always been the easy network, it will never be as strict as facebook, FB the only place you get banned for joining something. (like a group)

Its about time... FB did it and now twitter is following the same path.
