Twitter has slashed the number of accounts you're able to follow each day from 1,000 to 400.

400 are more than enough to grow fast as fuck though. I doubt you'd be able to follow 400/day without experiencing action blocks, multiple PVAs and captchas though.

I can assure you, you can NOT follow 400 a day, every day,. 7 days a week 365 days a year.
 
If you are going for SOFT following on many bots , 30 per day is a real sweet spot (even for new accounts or few days warmed)
More than that will require some special actions and account age I believe :)

I think you can 3-4x that (from my experience).
 
I found a good spot for me to be around 60-80 I don't get PVs or captcha requests when I stay within that amount.
 
Twitter doesn't allow aggressive following where you follow other accounts in a short span to gather attention. Obviously they will consider it as spamming. Although the daily limit is 400 but if you are using the automated method for following then you can have issues. Otherwise I think you will be fine. :)

Now things are worse. They are asking for accounts to be verified by the owner. And there is a lot of issues with Twitter last night and today.
