Tweets with links vs. without links

After a year growing on Twitter I make the experience, that tweets without links are better performing than tweets with links. Do you got the same stats?

I don't know if the Twitter algo don't prefer links or people are less likely to share tweets with links.

At least if someone would ask me how to grow on Twitter, I would say don't use links in Tweets if you want grow fast.

It makes sense, every platform does this as well (because they prefer to keep people in the app browsing their content, rather than being redirected all over the place by everyone)
