Tutorial to get backlinks from Wikipedia

Very interesting that, I keep finding pages for my niche that have very little on them and broken links.
Very useful info

That's a useful tutorial. Wikipedia links have got to be useful, even if they are no follow.

Quite a old method which i bought on WF some 2 years back and got many link this way. The retention ratio is 50%

I too find the method a bit similar to what I have tried but learned something new definitely.

Why dont post the tips here? Its allowed to put blog posts etc here?
Anyway, Thx.
Anyone tested the Method?

Even if you replace a dead link, chances are an editor will come and delete it. You need another editor to come and revert changes of the one, who deleted your link. This costs $50-150, which depends on who provides the service and your link/content quality.

If you page provides information i don't see any reason why the editor will delete the links. After all, Wiki is free information and they are strict with what you are linking to. I never have any of my links deleted. It's not about the the link, its more about what content does the link provide.

If your site is meant to sell something (e.g. product or ad space), it's very easy to miss some of the WP:ELNO criteria https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links#Links_normally_to_be_avoided . If you website matches them all fully, I think you are one of the few :)

Thanks for the share!!

Searching for deadlinks and replacing with your own is something I really love doing and it very effective.

You are not getting the point. Even if you have a site that sells something you can always put up a blog and add informative information there. And then try to earn a backlink from wikipedia.

I agree. Put an informative Web 2.0 or blog up that links to the money site, and there is no violation of the criteria. In many cases, you don't even have to go that far---simply putting a useful 'wiki style' page together on your money blog, and getting a backlink to that page from Wikipedia, will normally suffice.
